🎬 📹 Saint Seiya 🎬 📹 + Mobile Legends extras!
Saint Seiya marked a historic milestone worldwide. It was the series that introduced the Shonen genre to Latin America in the 1990s and shaped the childhoods of many children (myself included). Its plot is epic, packed with action, drama, and mythological fantasy. The fights depicted in each episode, no matter how long they were, were so memorable that I don't think any other current series can match them. Truthfully, I think they've used it as inspiration and guidance to develop so many new Shonen stories packed with action and sacrifice.
Caballeros del Zodiaco marcó un hito histórico a nivel mundial. Fue la serie que introdujo el género Shonen en Latinoamérica para la década de los 90 y marcó la infancia de muchos niños (yo incluido). Su trama es épica, cargada de acción, drama y fantasía mitológica. Las peleas mostradas en cada episodio, por más largas que se hicieran, fueron tan memorables que no creo que otra serie actual pueda igualarlas. A decir verdad, pienso que la han usado de inspiración y guía para desarrollar tantas nuevas historias Shonen cargadas de acción y sacrificio.
This series is a true classic. No matter how old it is, everyone who watched it remembers it with great nostalgia. And we're all left wanting to see its ending. Unfortunately, this happened more than 13 years later, when they finally delivered the remaining chapters to finish the story told so long ago in the manga. On the other hand, I must emphasize that the versions released after that '90s series, which were made into movies and live-action adaptations, from my perspective, weren't up to the standard or quality to meet my expectations as a fan of this story.
Esta serie es todo un clásico. Sin importar los años que tenga, todo el que la vio la recuerda con mucha nostalgia. Y todos quedamos con ganas de ver su final. Lamentablemente esto sucedió más de 13 años después, cuando finalmente entregaron los capítulos a todo dar que faltaban para terminar la historia que se contó alguna vez, hace tanto tiempo, en el manga. Por otro lado, debo resaltar que las versiones que sacaron luego de aquella serie de los 90, donde hicieron películas y adaptaciones estilo live action, desde donde yo lo veo, no dieron la talla ni la calidad para cubrir mis exigencias como fan de esta historia.
Every fight was majestic. The best were those against the Golden Saints. It was there that the most drama and action I'd ever seen unfolded. The series made you doubt whether your heroes would be able to save Athena, and even more so, whether they would even make it out alive. And how could you ignore its musical themes? Listening to them inspired anyone to fight like Seiya and his companions. The songs made you connect more with the scenes, the emotions of the protagonists, and you unconsciously sent all your cosmic energy to them so they could get up from the ground and keep fighting because they weren't allowed to give up.
Cada pelea fue majestuosa. Las mejores fueron esas en las que se enfrentaron a los caballeros dorados. Allí fue que se desencadenó más drama y más acción como nunca antes había visto. La serie te hacía dudar si tus héroes lograrían salvar a Atena y más aún, si saldrían con vida ellos mismos. Y ¿cómo dejar de lado sus temas musicales? Si escucharlos inspiraba a cualquiera a luchar como lo hacían Seiya y sus compañeros. Las canciones hacían que conectaras más con las escenas, las emociones de los protagonistas e inconscientemente les mandabas toda tu energía cósmica para que se levantaran del suelo y siguieran luchando porque no tenían permitido rendirse.
My favorite moments in the series are when the Great Shakka of the House of Virgo enters the scene. He's my favorite character, and the episodes I liked the most were the ones where he had to face the three dead knights from the Hades saga. That scene where he chose not to defeat them because he planned to go to the underworld to reunite with Athena. How can you not love this character when his actions demonstrate what it means to be a true knight? One who fights for honor and glory to save Athena. Plus, the series portrays him as so powerful that one believes he's incapable of dying. It's as if he were a God.
Mis momentos favoritos de la serie son cuando entra en escena el Grande Shakka de la casa de Virgo. Él es mi personaje favorito y los capítulos que más me gustaron fueron en los que él se tuvo que enfrentar a los tres caballeros muertos en la saga de Hades. Esa escena en la que eligió no vencerlos porque su plan era irse al inframundo a reunirse con Atena. ¿Cómo no amar a este personaje si demuestra con sus acciones lo que significa ser todo un caballero? Que lucha por honor y gloria para salvar a Atena. Además de que en la serie lo muestran tan poderoso que uno lo cree incapaz de morir. Es como si fuera un Dios.
Before I go, I want to share with you some photos and videos of League of Legends Wild Rift, which I'm also a fan of and play daily. They recently held a special event where they released versions of Mobile Legends characters like the classic Knights of the Zodiac, specifically Seiya, Ikki, and Shiryu. I was fortunate enough to receive the Bronze Knight version of Seiya, but I'd love to get the Gold Knight versions. Although I don't have them yet, I'm happy with the one they gave me and very grateful for it. Of course, the Gold versions are paid for, which is partly why I didn't get it, but when this event comes around again, I think I'll be willing to make that investment, especially with Ikki, since he's one of the lanes I've mastered the most.
Antes de irme, quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotos y videos de League of Legends Wild Rift, del cual también soy fan y juego a diario. Hace poco hicieron un evento especial donde sacaron versiones de personajes de Mobile Legends como los Clásicos Caballeros del Zodiaco, específicamente de Seiya, Ikki y Shiryu. Yo tuve la gran dicha de que me regalaran la versión de Seiya como caballero de bronce, pero me encantaría obtener las versiones en caballeros dorados. A pesar de que aún no las tengo, con la que me regalaron me siento conforme y estoy muy agradecido por ello. Por supuesto que las versiones doradas son pagas, en parte fue por eso que no la obtuve pero cuando vuelva este evento nuevamente, creo que estaré dispuesto a hacer esa inversión, sobre todo con el personaje de Ikki, ya que es uno de los carriles que más domino.

The music is key; no epic fight was complete without those spine-tingling soundtracks. And let's not even talk about the fights against the Golden Ones; the drama and action in the 12 houses was next level.

Tengo entendido - escuché algo al respecto - que el escritor permitió que hicieran cualquier cosa con una película que iban a hacer y después se quejó de que hubieran hecho cualquier cosa y que fue una dama la que después hizo un manga ",Lost canva" tan bueno que se la considera la sucesora del escritor del manga original. Creo que es realmente fascinante no solo la historia que cuenta cada anime sino tambiën la historia de creación y difusión tras el ánime en sí. Gracias por compartir. Éxito y mil bendiciones más.
