Greetings, fellow Otakus of #TheAnimeRealm. Last month, I watched the first season of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, but I haven't been able to bring you the review because I had other things I wanted to share with you first.

La serie de la cual les vengo a hablar hoy es catalogada como una comedia romántica estudiantil con toques psicológicos. Los protagonistas claramente sienten algo uno por el otro, pero ambos están renuentes a declarar su amor porque su orgullo e intelecto pueden más que lo que sienten mutuamente.

The series I'm going to talk about today is categorized as a romantic comedy about high school students with psychological elements. The protagonists clearly have feelings for each other, but both are reluctant to declare their love because their pride and intellect are stronger than their feelings for one another.
La primera temporada me robó unas cuantas carcajadas al ver las ocurrencias de los protagonistas en sus monólogos innovando alguna idea extraña para que la otra persona se confiese primero. La trama es sencilla pero muy graciosa y te hace querer ver más para saber quién de ellos ganará.
The first season had me in stitches with the protagonists' antics in their stand-up routines, each coming up with some bizarre idea to get the other person to confess first. The plot is simple but hilarious, and it makes you want to watch more to find out who will win.
Y es que te plantean la idea de declararse a alguien como una guerra intelectual donde el perdedor es quien confiesa sus sentimientos por el otro, de allí que vean al amor como una guerra, pero no todo termina allí. They present the idea of confessing your feelings as an intellectual battle where the loser is the one who reveals their emotions, hence their view of love as a war. But it doesn't end there. As the episodes progress, you realize that these two feel something deep for each other.

Para los protagonistas es un hecho que demostrar sus sentimientos es muestra de debilidad y esto los hace enfocarse en superarse a sí mismos, mejorar e incluso ver más allá de lo que la otra persona intenta hacer para llevarle ventaja.
This causes the plot to become serious alongside the comedy. For the protagonists, showing their feelings is a sign of weakness, and this drives them to focus on self-improvement, to better themselves, and even to see beyond what the other person is trying to do to gain an advantage.
Lo que me gusta de esta serie es que sus protagonistas siempre están bajo un intenso estrés tratando de decifrar al otro y las ocurrencias para obtener algo a cambio y así lograr "ganar la batalla" del amor es muy hilarante. Sus expresiones lo dicen todo y lo mejor es que sus amistades desconocen de esta "guerra" que se plantearon entre ambos desde un inicio.
What I love about this series is that the protagonists are always under intense stress, trying to figure each other out, and the schemes they come up with to get something in return and "win the battle" for love are hilarious. Their expressions say it all, and the best part is that their friends are completely unaware of this "war" they've been waging from the very beginning.

Hasta ahora me he visto la primera temporada. Pero tengo pendiente ver sus dos temporadas restantes más el OVA. Además, su diseño artístico es muy lindo y la banda sonora también juega un papel importante en su desarrollo, lo que hace que toda la serie en sí resalte por estar hecha de manera excelente en todos sus aspectos. De mi parte, la recomiendo y le otorgo sus 5 estrellitas completas.
So far, I've watched the first season. But I still need to watch the remaining two seasons plus the OVA. The art style is beautiful, and the soundtrack plays a vital role, making the entire series stand out for its excellent craftsmanship. I highly recommend it and give it a full 5 stars.

I enjoyed the way that you captured the tension and the humor between Kaguya and Shirogane. Their mind games are so entertaining to watch all the time. The way in which pride becomes love with time is what you have perfectly described. The section of the soundtrack and art style was also quite similar to my impression of the anime as well.
