Greetings, friends. I'm a big fan of anime and I've made many of these characters on my blog. Well, today I'd like to share with you another figurine of a truly charming character, Pochita.

She is a character from the anime Chainsaw Man, which is quite well known and really cool. Pochita is one of the most charming characters in anime in my opinion, so I wanted to make this lovely figurine. Join me in the creative process of this character.

Saludos amigos. Soy un gran fan del anime y he hecho muchos de estos personajes en mi blog. Pues bien, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes otra figurita de un personaje ciertamente encantador, Pochita.

Es un personaje del anime Chainsaw Man, bastante conocido realmente genial. Pochita es uno de los personajes más encantadores del anime en mi opinión, así que quise hacer esta encantadora figurita. Acompáñenme en el proceso creativo de este personaje.

Step by step

The materials I used were as follows:

• Plasticine
• Wire
• Glue

I used colored plasticine, mixing several colors to obtain the colors of the character, which are brick red, white, gray, and black. These are the colors I used, so no paint was necessary.

Los materiales que utilicé fueron los siguientes:

• Plastilina
• Alambre
• Pegamento

La plastilina que utilicé fue de colores, usé varias mezclas de plastilina de colores para obtener los del personaje, que son como un color rojo ladrillo, blanco, gris y negro. Estos son los colores que utilicé, así que no fue necesario ningún tipo de pintura.

The first thing I did for this character was the body, which is shaped like a bean if you look at the image below. The only difference is that it has a thinner bottom and a little tail.

I made this body shape with the brick-colored plasticine I mentioned earlier.

Lo primero que hice para este personaje fue el cuerpo, el cual tiene una forma de un frijol si lo observan en la imagen de abajo. La única diferencia es que tiene la parte de abajo más delgada y una colita.

Esta forma del cuerpo lo hice con la plastilina de color ladrillo que les mencioné anteriormente.

After that, I made the legs, also using brick-colored plasticine. First, I made the two front legs. To make it easier to understand, I made them like two chicken thighs, with the tips of the legs quite thin.

Then I continued with the hind legs, which I also made in the same way, like smaller chicken thighs, only with the tips of the legs bent forward instead of being elongated.

Después de esto le hice las patitas, también con la plastilina de color ladrillo. Primeramente hice las dos patitas delanteras. Para que se entienda, las hice como si fuesen dos muslos de pollo, con la puntita de las patas bastante delgadas.

Luego continué con las patas traseras, las cuales también las hice de la misma forma, como muslos de pollos más pequeños, solo que con la punta de las patitas dobladas hacia adelante, en lugar de estar alargadas.

It is a relatively simple figurine, meaning it has few pieces, but that does not mean it is easy to make; on the contrary, it is difficult to make.

Once these pieces were ready, it was just a matter of continuing with the chainsaw blade. I made this in a light gray color, as you can see in the image below. It is shaped like an ice cream scoop, with a diagonal cut at the bottom, which is attached to the head.

Es una figurita de forma relativamente simple, es decir, de pocas piezas, lo cual no significa que sea fácil de hacer; al contrario, es difícil de hacer.

Pues bien, una vez lista estas piezas, solo era cuestión de continuar con la hoja de la motosierra. Esta la hice con un color gris claro, como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo, es la forma de una paleta de helados, con un corte en diagonal en la parte de abajo, la que va pegada a la cabeza.

After making the chainsaw blade, I made a sort of groove in the middle of the head. With the help of a small piece of wire and glue, I attached the chainsaw blade to this groove in the head.

Después de hacer la hoja de la motosierra, hice una suerte de zanja a la mitad de la cabeza. Con ayuda de un trocito de alambre y pegamento, pegué la hoja de la motosierra en esta zanja de la cabeza.

After that, I attached the final accessories to the chainsaw blade, such as the chain with the teeth and the handle that Pochita has on her back. I secured all these pieces with glue.

Después de esto le coloqué los últimos accesorios de la hoja de la motosierra, como lo es la cadena con las púas y el mango que tiene Pochita en el lomo. Todas estas piezas las fijé con pegamento.

The last thing I did was to place the character's eyes, one on each side of the chainsaw. I made the eyes by first drawing a white circle and then a smaller black circle inside it.

Lo último que hice fue colocar los ojitos del personaje, los cuales van uno a cada lado de la motosierra. La forma en que hice el ojo fue primero con un círculo blanco y luego un círculo negro más pequeño.
