The Tea loving side of Levi

Levi Ackerman is one of the most best written characters in all of attack on titan. Prior to his life as a military personnel, he was once a thief, mercenary and underground criminal working beneath the city's capital. As a criminal he possessed exceptional skills and agility being able to navigate an ODM gear on his own mastering it without any form of training or prior experience. He was eventually apprehended after being outsmarted by Erwin, loses both of his friends on a mission to kill Erwin and chooses to join the survey corps instead of facing punishment for his crimes.

As a member of the survey corps, Levi Ackerman is usually regarded as humanity's greatest weapon because of his incredible titan-killing talent with a maneuver gear despite his small stature. His incredible ability with the blade and getting the job done earns him the rank of a captain with his own elite team known as the Levi squad tasked with the most difficult missions. Levi is a quiet fellow who believes in action more than words.

He is so focused on work that he barely has time for mundane interaction with it being the only time he has smiled in the series. But underneath his rather difficult nature, Levi possesses two qualities that makes him an even more enjoyable character- His love for Tea and absolute cleanliness, two things he holds in utmost regard.

Levi's obsession for cleanliness is no secret to his comrades, a truth the protagonist Eren Yeager learns the hard way. After the creation of the team tasked with protecting Eren, they relocate to a safe location out of public eye to learn more about Eren's abilities to battle threats to humanity. Levi forces everybody into cleaning duty going as far as telling Eren to clean the whole place over again believing he did not do a good job earlier. The beauty of tea requires high levels of cleanliness, a tradition he takes quite seriously. As a character Levi doesn't just take tea for pleasure alone NOOOOO!!!!, He looks forward to every tea drinking session to enjoy the one thing he sees as a form of relaxation away from the titan-killing world that plagues humanity.

Even in serious settings amongst other people, Levi is with his cup gently sipping his tea holding the cup in a unique manner even when the atmosphere requires alcohol which most of the people present might be gulping down already. One scene that nails it all for me was in the first season during the trail of Eren after his first transformation into the attack titan. While everyone was shorting and demanding the death of Eren, our tea lover maintains his composure quietly savoring his tea.

One thing I adore about this tea loving fighting machine is the way he holds up the cup when he is about to drink his tea. I am super curious about why he holds it up that way but unfortunately I don't think there is any information about this very habit and so I'll just have to enjoy this character the way I have always seen him

Algo que adoro de esta máquina de combate amante del té es la forma en que sostiene la taza cuando va a beber. Siento mucha curiosidad por saber por qué lo hace de esa manera, pero desafortunadamente, no creo que haya información sobre este hábito tan peculiar, así que solo me queda disfrutar de este personaje tal como siempre lo he hecho.
