The woman in a blue dress (mixed media on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Saturday to you all! Hot day here and so I started to work on my paintings during the cooler hours of the day: soon in the morning and after the dinner. Fortunately my lab room is the coolest room inside my home and so I can work in a comfortable way when oytside the temperature is high. ^_^
Yesterday I shared with you a page of my sketchbook where I studied a new idea (you can read about it here for my characters to see how it could work for a painting. I liked the result and so this morning I worked on a pieces based on that idea.
In the following pics, you can see the final result:
As you can see, the subject is one of my women in my hown illustrative style. The dress reminds an old style dress (but watching it it could reminds a bottle too ^_^ ).
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted this female figure so you can see the process too:
