The flying sparrow (oil on paper)

An happy Wednesday to you all!
Another grey day, another bird portrait to show you! ^_^
I'd like to take some pics of the birds (usually sparrows, robins and blackbirds) I watch every morning in my backyard, but they fly away every time I have my camera in my hands.:D

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first hours of the day. After the first cup of the day I started to work on a flying sparrow, in the same pose of the blue bird I sketched yesterday on my sketcbook. I just finished to paint the new bird and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, the main subject is a flying brown bird, similar to a sparrow. I painted one of my usual tiny scene about home on it and, thanks to one of the rubber I handmade by myself, I added a lot of clouds around.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint something new, I took some pics while I was painted this bird so you can see the process too:
