In a mental hospital, one of the nurses sees a patient writing by hand. She approaches and speaks to him:

— Hello Peter, what are you doing?
— I'm writing a letter to send by traditional post.
— And who are you going to send it to?
— To myself.

The nurse, playing along, comments:

— Aha, I see… and tell me, what are you telling yourself in the letter?

To this question, the patient responses, very puzzled:

— How do you expect me to know? I haven't received the letter yet!

En un manicomio, una de las enfermeras ve a un paciente escribiendo a mano. Se acerca y le habla:

— ¿Hola Pepe, que haces?
— Estoy escribiendo una carta, para mandarla por correo postal.
— ¿Y a quién se la vas a mandar?
— A mí mismo.

La enfermera, siguiendo el juego, comenta:

— Aja, ya veo… y dime, ¿qué te cuentas en la carta?

Ante esta pregunta el paciente responde muy extrañado:

— ¿Cómo quiere que yo lo sepa? ¡Si todavía no he recibido la carta!
