Wednesday Walk by the icy Pond

Wednesday Walk by the icy Pond

This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)
Good Morning , I hope allis well with you

To be honest this past week I have not got out for any walks, I have been good gettign my steps in each day, between walking in circle sin our sunroom or working out onthe Supernatural VR app each morning, and averaging around 8K steps a day but the sunroom isnt photogenic so instead I will share some shots from a walk a week or so back when the pond in Buttonwood Park was partially frozen over, we since then had a few warm days and the ice all melted, but now a colder spell and when I drove past the pond yesterday it seemed to be even more frozen over than it is in the shots I share today

I considered editing out the bottle in this first shot but i generally try to keep things as I see them, and it gives me a chance to have a short rant

WHY!!!!

or for me thats a short rant :)

this is an ocver flow from the pond not frozen at this time

The ducks do not seem bothered at all by the cold

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

That's pretty crazy with the bottle sticking up through the ice like that. Our neighbor across the street has the VR thing and I feel like every time I glance over at their window you can see their one kid waving his arms around playing on it.

Yeah its a pet peeve of mine when I see trash in the pond or on beaches somne people are so lazy

I oftne wonder when I am doing a VR workout how I must look, all arms and legs going every which way LOL

This kid does it right in front of their big picture window, so it's hard to miss! I'm guessing you do it a bit more privately than that!

indeed I do my VR in our sunroom, just the cemetery out the windows and the odd person walking by but with the curtains I do not think anyone sees me

Well, but exercise and walking is the important thing even if you haven't been out this week. By the way those images are dreamy, a beautiful and inspiring place, I love the mix of water, trees and reflections. Thanks for this walk!

You know I miss my walks. I use to get such good blog materials. Not to mention the self reflection and clarity.
