Wednesday's trip with tasks completed and well-deserved enjoyment.
Greetings, dear friends of #wednesdaywalk.
Once again, I am here with you to share a new journey, thanks to the wonderful initiative of @tattoodjay, who invites us to enjoy and document our walks and see those of others. Today, I want to tell you about our day, which, although it was not a planned walk as such, ended up being a very special and productive journey.
I had no work commitments that day, which in itself is a relief because I don't have to rush around. However, we still had to find some materials we needed for a job we have to do in the next few days. So, taking advantage of our free time and the cool, pleasant weather that morning, we decided to leave early and start our tour.
Our first stop was at the store “Rois C.A.,” located on 31 de Julio Avenue, in the La Fuente sector, Antolín del Campo municipality, in Nueva Esparta state, here on our beloved Margarita Island. This place is well known for its variety of tools and construction materials, and fortunately, we found two of the multi-saws we needed there. However, the 100-grit multi-sander, which was also essential, was not available; they had run out. So, without getting discouraged, we decided to continue on our way to the city in the hope of finding it, along with the blue and brown paints that were also on our list.

Una vez más me encuentro con ustedes para compartir un nuevo recorrido, gracias a la hermosa iniciativa de @tattoodjay, que nos invita a disfrutar y documentar nuestros paseos y poder ver los de otros. Hoy quiero contarles cómo transcurrió nuestro día, que aunque no fue un paseo planeado como tal, terminó siendo un recorrido muy especial y productivo.
Este día no tenía compromisos de trabajo, lo cual ya de por sí es un alivio porque no tengo que andar con prisa. Sin embargo, teníamos pendiente la búsqueda de algunos materiales necesarios para un trabajo que debemos realizar en los próximos días. Así que, aprovechando el tiempo libre y el clima fresco y agradable que nos regaló la mañana, decidimos salir temprano y comenzar nuestro recorrido.
Nuestra primera parada fue en el negocio “Rois C.A.”, ubicado en la avenida 31 de Julio, en el sector La Fuente, municipio Antolín del Campo, en el estado Nueva Esparta, aquí en nuestra querida Isla de Margarita. Este lugar es bastante conocido por su variedad en herramientas y materiales de construcción, y afortunadamente conseguimos allí dos de las multilijas que necesitábamos. Sin embargo, la multilija de grano 100, que también era esencial, no estaba disponible; se les había agotado. Así que, sin desanimarnos, decidimos continuar nuestro camino hacia la ciudad con la esperanza de encontrarla, junto con las pinturas azul y marrón que también estaban en nuestra lista.
We visited several stores specializing in the sale of materials, but unfortunately we had no luck. At each place, they told us that those particular products were out of stock or that they did not carry them.
Visitamos varios locales especializados en venta de materiales, pero lamentablemente no tuvimos suerte. En cada sitio nos decían que justo esos productos estaban agotados o que no los manejaban.
Just when we thought we would have to leave the search for another day, someone recommended we stop by La Vela shopping center, where there was supposedly a store that had the paint we needed so badly.
Without thinking twice, we headed there. And what a pleasant surprise we got: not only did we find the paint, but they also had exactly the shade of sea blue we were looking for. That blue is not just any color, it is the one that represents our small family business, and for me it is very important to maintain that visual identity. I felt really satisfied to have found it, as if it were a small victory for the day.
Ya cuando pensábamos que tendríamos que dejar la búsqueda para otro día, alguien nos recomendó pasar por el centro comercial La Vela, donde supuestamente había un local que tenía la pintura que tanto necesitábamos.
Sin pensarlo dos veces, nos dirigimos hacia allá. Y qué grata sorpresa nos llevamos: no solo encontramos la pintura, sino que además tenían exactamente el tono de azul mar que estábamos buscando. Ese azul no es cualquier color, es el que representa a nuestra pequeña empresa familiar, y para mí es muy importante mantener esa identidad visual. Me sentí realmente satisfecha de haberlo conseguido, como si fuera una pequeña victoria del día.
With some of our goals accomplished, we decided to treat ourselves. We stopped by the Sambil shopping center with the idea of having a tasty snack, and that's exactly what we did. We found some cheese and ham puff pastries at the market bakery that I love, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, accompanied by a fresh juice that was simply delicious. It was the perfect end to a day of errands that, although simple, was full of pleasant moments.
Con parte de nuestros objetivos cumplidos, decidimos darnos un pequeño gusto. Pasamos por el centro comercial Sambil con la idea de merendar algo rico, y así fue. Nos encontramos que en la panadería del mercado había unos hojaldres de queso y jamón que me encantan, crujientes por fuera y suaves por dentro, acompañados de un jugo natural que estaba simplemente delicioso. Fue el cierre perfecto para una jornada de diligencias que, aunque sencilla, estuvo llena de momentos agradables.
After having a snack and feeling like we had accomplished our tasks, we headed back home. Sometimes, the simplest days are the most enjoyable, especially when we make small progress that brings us closer to our goals.

Después de merendar y con la sensación de haber cumplido con nuestras tareas, emprendimos el camino de regreso a casa. A veces, los días más simples son los que más se disfrutan, sobre todo cuando se logran pequeños avances que nos acercan a nuestras metas.
