A Fresh Start but on a Rainy Day: Cold Days, Walking in the Rain, and a Great Blessing to Be Grateful For -Purple Corn!

Yessss! I sleep til 6:20 this morning, yes! For me that's already a goal. Lol. I can't remember the day that I wake up in the morning really late, my oldies often get mad at me if they see me, still at the bed once the clock hit 6 am. They believe that those who wake up early can't catch the luck or whatever and we can also do a lot if we wake up early. I understand that now but I really wish they let me sleep until 10 am back then. For them, if I lack sleep because I sleep late at night, I can just get that sleep in the afternoon. ◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗

We have a lot of free time during that time. But you know, waking up late is really different, staying in bed until 9 or 10 can really do a lot. For example you can get out on the bed with a happy heart believing that "that" very day will be a better one. Sadly, I never experience that until I just get used to it. Hayyssst! There's a lot of things that I never got to experience, that young me. When will I be able to live that moment? Will it ever happen? Nahhh, to late now I guess Oh gosh, and so moving onnnnnnnn.... └|∵|┐♪

If tomorrow really cold, today is much super duper cold. But according to the news this will only last until this month and on March, it will be hell again, lol. I mean, seriously, I still prefer this kind of weather even though we're all already getting sick now. And yeah, i'm outside again fighting with the rain and strong wind.

And Mama doesn't feel cold with just the light rain like this but today's really different. I read in the news that some part of Mindoro road is not passable already. It's always the same Municipality to be honest I feel bad to the residents in that place. We're still lucky that the rain here is not that strong, though the wind is much stronger.

Anyways, we stop by in ine of the shop her to buy rice for the pets. Mama found a good rice for a very affordable price on this shop. Ah, that said pets are actually with us. Hayssst, rains cannot stop them, they still decides to follow us. The gate is really so useless with this two

We decided to get all the things we need so that we can go home immediately. If we didn't do that the dogs will really get sick the more time we spend outside. Is there a raincoat for dogs ba? Lol

Once we get home I made adobo using the pork I bought in the market. I made a sweet and sour version of adobo by the way

I was still busy in the kitchen when I heard that someone arrived and he knows the oldies. I also heard that they're handing something to Mommy D.

When I checked, it is actually a corn and there's a lot of them. And they are not the white corn but this purple corn and they are big. We are always grateful for this blessing, seriously

We shared some of this to mama and also boil some for our afternoon merienda. I can't remember the last time I had corn so I will happily munch some of this. I can't really eat a lot of this so i'll probably just have small two corns. How many can you eat in one sitting guys? Mine's two with hours interval, lol

Mama immediately light up some firewood to cook her corn. She only cook three though

And so eating time, I usually put salt into mine when eating boiled corn. I love a lil salty corn you see and I think salt enhance its natural sweetness. But today I used margarine because we have it haha. Margarine, especially the salted one is really good with corn. For me... Not sure about the other ෆ⁠╹⁠ ⁠.̮⁠ ⁠╹⁠ෆ
