Wednesday Walk at La Jolla, CA [EN/PT-BR]

Today is Wednesday, and the day was perfect for a walk, so I have to post my walk here!

After a couple of weeks of bad weather, we finally got a break yesterday. The forecast looks good now, and today sun is shining without a cloud in the sky. The day is just perfect, so I asked my wife if she wanted to go for a walk in La Jolla during our lunch time.

I've been to this area many times before, and you can probably find a few other posts I made with the same landscape. It's all the same but just different angles, or time of the day. I just can't get tired of those views. My wife usually says that when she gets rich, she wants to move to La Jolla, right around that area. This is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in San Diego.

I parked my car near the Scripps Coastal Meander Trailhead. It is located on the hills, north of La Jolla Shores. Most of that area in the hills is part of the UCSD campus (University of California San Diego). All the buildings and houses you see in the pictures are owned by UCSD, and there are classrooms and labs. Can you imagine studying or working with this view everyday? We started at the top of the hill and we walked all the way down to the beach. The surf was high and there were lots of surfers in the water. The walk back was a good exercise as it was all uphill.

Hoje é quarta-feira e o dia estava perfeito para uma caminhada, portanto, tenho que postar minha caminhada aqui!

Depois de algumas semanas de tempo ruim, finalmente o tempo abriu ontem. A previsão do tempo parece boa agora, e hoje o sol está brilhando sem uma nuvem no céu. O dia está perfeito, então perguntei à minha esposa se ela queria fazer uma caminhada em La Jolla durante nosso horário de almoço.

Já estive nessa área muitas vezes antes, e você provavelmente pode encontrar algumas outras publicações que fiz com a mesma paisagem. É tudo a mesma coisa, mas em ângulos diferentes ou diferente horario do dia. Eu simplesmente não consigo me cansar dessas vistas. Minha esposa costuma dizer que, quando ficar rica, ela quer se mudar para La Jolla, bem perto dessa área. Esse é um dos bairros mais caros de San Diego.

Estacionei meu carro perto do Scripps Coastal Meander Trailhead. Ele está localizado no alto do morro, ao norte de La Jolla Shores. A maior parte dessa área no morro faz parte do campus da UCSD (University of California San Diego). Todos os prédios e casas que você vê nas fotos são de propriedade da UCSD, e há salas de aula e laboratórios neles. Você consegue se imaginar estudando ou trabalhando com essa vista todos os dias? Começamos no topo da colina e caminhamos até a praia. As ondas estavam altas e havia muitos surfistas na água. A caminhada de volta foi um bom exercício, pois foi toda em subida.
