Wednesday walk : To Cijurey Village
Greetings everyone
How are you,my dear friends? I hope you are all well and that God always blesses you. "The best people are those who are beneficial to others". Thank you Wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay for the inspiration and management.

It was a sunny morning, after several days of rain in my hometown, Sukabumi around 9 a.m, the three of US departed from Sukabumi city for a village in Gegerbitung District, Sukabumi regency, west Java Province regency, to meet a family who lives in Cijurey village.

The three of US traveled approximately 20 kilometers to our destination by car. After traveling approximately 17 kilometers. The vehicle stopped and Parked at a local resident's house because Cars couldn't enter.
We decided to walk for the remaining 3 kilometers to our destination. The road was narrow, and the surface was placed with Cemen. The atmosphere in the village was peaceful, with fresh air and we could see vast expanses of rice fields. With several houses and simple building visible.

Majority of the villagers make their living as Farmers. I Saw a house that still or kolong structure. The building materials used are wood and bamboo, the Walls are Made of woven bamboo. And the roof is Made of clay tiles Made through a firing process.

The women are working to Harvest rice using traditional methods. They said that this Harvest yields were reduced due to being hit by rars, but they are grateful that there is still hope to sell the rice and some for family needs.

Finally, the three of US arrived at our destination. The house wasn't far from Gombong forest, as the locals call it. We were there to provide assistance in the form of clothing and money, as one of their children was sick.

Before going home, the host had prepared lunch, the menu was quite simple, liwet rice, grilled fish, ginger and soy sauce. The fish were taken from the pond. Coincidentally the host had a fish pond. The fish were caught by fishing, cleaned and then grilled.

Thank you for stopping.
