Kuznetsky Most Street
The calendar shows the second half of February. Who said that the New Year holidays are long over? What are you saying? Is Chinese New Year behind us too?
I thought the same way. But it turns out I was wrong.
Last weekend I visited my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in Moscow. My son-in-law and I met with my friends at the Ketch Up restaurant on Thursday evening. The restaurant is located in the center of Moscow, and when I got off the subway, I found myself back in a New Year's tale.
So, the best way to get to the center of Moscow is by metro, so as not to look for a place to park a car. Especially since we were going to drink alcohol. I wanted to meet guys I hadn't seen in over a year. To do this, I suggested that they meet at Alexander Belkovich restaurant. This restaurateur and chef hosts the programs "Just a Kitchen" and "One Hundred Places to Eat" on Saturdays on the Russian channel CTC. In the first case, he cooks simple food, but he makes it very interesting. In the second case, he travels around Russia and introduces us to restaurants, cafes, and fast-food establishments in cities across Russia. I didn't know he had his own restaurants. I found out about it by accident a month ago.
Here they are, the gates leading us into the continuation of the winter holiday.
Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, said that New Year decorations on the streets of the city will remain until March 1. In previous years, I don't remember this.
New Year's Express. Such a locomotive is always red.
That's our goal - the Ketch Up restaurant. The guys were already sitting at the tables. When we got off the subway, we decided to find the right address using the navigator on iPhones, but in the center of Moscow, the navigators do not work due to anti-drone protection. By the way, GPS devices don't work near factories in my city either.
First, I ordered an original burger, French fries, and 50 grams of Havana Club rum. Then there were 5 more times for 50 grams and other snacks. The guys were drinking beer. I don't drink beer.
We were in the restaurant for about 3 hours. It's a great place, I liked it! Great setting, and a nice girl waiter. She knows how to persuade clients to order another portion of alcohol or food.
We walked more slowly back to the metro station, talked, and sometimes my son-in-law posed for a photo.
Guitars were playing loudly from 2 places, the guys tried to cover each other and attract listeners.
Almost at the metro station, I saw a lone trumpeter. He caught my attention with his game and I put the money in his bag. I love wind instruments: trumpets, and saxophones.
We have to take the subway for 20 minutes and walk 15 minutes to the house. Well, it was a pleasant evening.
Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.
Well. I wish all my friends, observers, and readers wonderful walks on Wednesdays. And also on Sundays and any other day!
