International Guitar Day + Día Internacional de la Guitarra [Eng+Spa]
This Wednesday has passed calmly, it is almost midnight and I have actually gone past the time I had planned for writing the day's record. Everything has been going well in my personal life, so there is no news, it's a simple calm #life, just the way I like it. On the other hand, when I reviewed the anniversaries of #history today (October 18), I found that among the commemorations there is a celebration date for a #Music instrument that I like to listen to, it is the 'International Day of Guitar'.

Este miércoles ha pasado con calma, ya casi es medianoche y en verdad que me he pasado de la hora que tenía previsto para la redacción del registro del día. Todo ha ido bien en mi vida personal, así que no hay novedades, es una simple #vida calmada, tal como me gusta. Por otra parte, cuando revisé sobre las efemérides de la #historia de hoy (18 de octubre), me encontré con que entre las conmemoraciones hay una fecha de celebración para un instrumento de #Musica que me gusta escuchar, es el ‘Día Internacional de la Guitarra’.

The #guitar is a very widespread string instrument, and in common use in much of the world in the last 4 centuries, at least it is quite common in the Western world and its areas of influence. Throughout history this musical instrument has been used for different musical genres, different styles and very varied #art creations.
Personally, I like the classical guitar, although I admit that I am also captivated by a good performance on the electric guitar, I guess I have varied tastes. Anyway, I quite like various classical performances and I suppose that almost all the music I know can be performed with a good acoustic guitar.

La #guitarra es un instrumento de cuerda muy difundido, y de uso común en buena parte del mundo en los últimos 4 siglos, por lo menos es bastante común en el mundo occidental y en sus ámbitos de influencia. A lo largo de la historia se ha usado este #instrumento musical para diferentes géneros musicales, distintos estilos y muy variadas creaciones de #arte.
En lo personal, me gusta la guitarra clásica, aunque admito que también me cautiva una buena interpretación con la guitarra eléctrica, supongo que soy de gustos variados. Como sea, me gustan bastante varias interpretaciones clásicas y supongo que caso toda la música que conozco se puede interpretar con una buena guitarra acústica.

For example, the video I share is a cover of a song from the Soundtrack of an Action Movie that I enjoyed a few decades ago, I liked the work this artist did and I really liked the interpretation.
I must say that I am pretty bad at playing any musical instrument, but I would like to be able to play a guitar sometime without causing dogs and cats to howl in terror and beg me to stop playing (personal laugh). Por ejemplo, el vídeo que comparto es un cover de una canción de la Banda Sonora de una Película de acción que disfruté hace unas décadas, me gustó el trabajo que hizo este artista y la interpretación me agradó bastante.
Debo decir que soy bastante malo para interpretar cualquier instrumento musical, pero me gustaría poder tocar alguna vez una guitarra sin provocar que los perros y gatos aúllen aterrados y me rueguen que deje de tocar (risa personal). En fin, que tengas tú un buen día, que tengas música para disfrutar y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.

En mis comienzos como tocador de guitarra -que no guitarrista- recuerdo en beso que me dio una muchacha de manera sorpresiva porque le cante SERENO É, eso fue en 1972, y cada vez que paso por el frente de la casa, me acuerdo de ese beso.
Recuerdo que solíamos bromear en casa, porque el tío que tocaba guitarra (y otros varios instrumentos de cuerda) era el más popular con las chicas :) Supongo que eso es algo que sucede en todas partes.
Es un instrumento genial, realmente se pueden lograr melodías muy gratas con las guitarras.
