Self -control is the ability to control our emotions, thoughts and behavior to achieve specific goals or manage the situation appropriately. It's not about suppressing what we feel. But learn to respond consciously and carefully instead of being impulsive
When we can control our emotions, we can clearly analyze the situation and make better decisions. Self -control helps us to avoid acting under the influence of stress, anger or fear, which may lead to a mistake that we may regret later.
Self -control does not mean perfection or without emotions. It is about learning to manage them smartly in order to have a more balanced and satisfying life. The development of this skill requires continuous time, patience and training. But the benefits that lead to our lives are very valuable
