They are those who inspire us to grow, who confront us when necessary and who accept us as we are, with our virtues and defects.

Having the right friends does not mean having perfect relationships. Like any human bond, friendship also has its ups and downs. However, what distinguishes these connections is authenticity and a mutual commitment to care for them. The right friends do not give up easily in the face of difficulties; instead, they work together with us to strengthen the bond that unites us.

Ultimately, the right friends not only enrich our lives; they also teach us the true meaning of love and human connection. So cherish those special people in your life, nurture those relationships and always remember that, above all else, friendship is a precious gift that deserves to be treasured.

Dementia risk predictors!

We all know that prevention is better than cure. For many conditions, early detection and appropriate measures offer good outcomes. However, predicting a condition and taking measures to slow it down (if inevitable) is the best thing in some instances. A study showed that the risk of developing dementia can be predicted up to 2 decades before the appearance of the symptoms. The researchers have listed eleven key dementia predictors! Lifestyles, physical health, and cognitive abilities include those predictors.

  • Poor physical health
  • History of a stroke
  • Presence of the genes that are found in association with a risk of developing cognitive impairment and dementia
  • No private health insurance plan at age 60
  • Having no regular work or working only for a few years
  • Suffering from DM or having a BMI of 35 or more at age 60
  • No drinking or excessive drinking of alcohol
  • No habit of exercising
  • Poor performance in various physical tests (such as grip strength, walking speed and balance, etc.)
  • Not being a conscientious person
  • Lack of interest in hobbies and activities that involve learning new things
