To determine progress, you must make a measurement between two points in time. Once you have completed your measurements, you then can compare those against prior measurements or goals to determine how you consider your progress.

The first full week of tracking my Hive Accumulation progress has completed and it is now time to discover what progress was made.

I was able to accumulate 9.236 Hive and 1.003 HBD to my account resulting in a value of $5.393 USD this week (details below). I believe this is great progress for myself to start out the first full week of 2025.

Rewarding Myself

Last week I stated that I would be rewarding myself $1.00 if I was able to increase my Hive balance by twice that amount. My Hive balance increased by $4.395 more than double what I was expecting it to increase.

I will also b moving some of the Liquid HBD to savings to take advantage of the great 15% rate that is accumulated on staked HBD. Earning the $0.284 this period covers 28% of the amount I rewarded myself so if I can increase that to cover the full reward with fully passive income to help with real world items that would even be a bigger win.
