Alive Chat

Alive Chat is jump-starting the We Are Alive tribe to be more ALIVE in 2025. AliveChat brings challenges to the tribe so people will engage and chat through this post. Where there is a challenge, there is also a prize. The prize of staking ALIVE is from this post, back to our tribe. So, it's a win-win condition to make this challenge as long as possible, and the pot will grow in time. The reward pot will be from the author post reward shared with the participants based on your performance as a participant. Some portions will be burnt too. Happy Staking!

Challenge Task

Let's break down the details!

  1. To be eligible, each participant must stake at least 10 ALIVE and hold it until Monday 00:00 AM UTC at a minimum and share your staking activity (posted or not) in the comments section.

  2. Staking that counts as participation starts from Tuesday 00:00 AM UTC until Wednesday 11:59 PM UTC. Valid posts are between those times too.

  3. Unstaking ALIVE will remove you from participation.

  4. This challenge will be open until Wednesday 11:59 PM UTC

  5. We will post the list of participants for last week's challenge.

  6. The reward distribution report will be posted in the comments section after everything is done.

Alive Tipping Bot

The minimum ALIVE Power to use our tipping bot is 1,000 AP (owned non-delegated stake plus incoming delegations) which allows you to send 10 tips per day, and we have 4 levels.

  • Level 1: 1k AP = 10 tips per day
  • Level 2: 5k AP = 20 tips per day
  • Level 3: 20k AP = 30 tips per day
  • Level 4: 100k AP = 40 tips per day

Use the command !ALIVE in a comment to send a tip, and do make sure to add a space just before and after to make sure it works correctly, the counter resets at midnight UTC.

Hey everybody,
As suggested, I'm responding with my first stake, even though there will most likely be more before the end of the challenge. About 73AP to start with, let's see how much more I can add before Wednesday night. The time reported by peakd is quite funny, 1970! Long before Hive was created! Anyways, the hive-engine explorer time makes more sense...

Unfortunately, it seems hive-engine is really struggling, the last transaction I see was 17 hours ago. The stake that I started yesterday night didn't go through either. So no way to stake more for this week challenge. Next week it is!

Hey, thanks for the rewards! However, I am trying to understand how you arrived at 59.8291 for my total. My first stake on Tuesday morning was already 73.6241 (snapshot attached in my previous comment). How can it be less? Then I saw a second stake (77.1781) went through on Wednesday in spite of the HE problems, at least according to HE Explorer. No big deal at all, that wouldn't change the rewards much anyways, but I'm just trying to check if I'm missing something.

Did you mean your comment on this post? This was the report for last week's participants (January 28, 2025), not this week's participants (February 4, 2025). This week participants will have to wait until the author's reward of this post is distributed to @alive.chat before it is given to participants.

I think you misread the reward distribution information 🤣.
