Les he comentado que vivo en una ciudad que tiene el clima ¨subtropical¨: donde podemos disfrutar de las cuatro estaciones en tramos cortos, dado que la temperatura que predomina es la del ¨verano¨; esto lo que hace es que mis recuerdos estén más relacionados a ello. Nací en un barrio de capital donde todo era edificios y calles asfaltadas; la poca vegetación que veía era un jardín que tenía mi abuelo en el patio trasero donde me pasaba jugando gran parte del día
I've told you that I live in a city with a ¨subtropical¨ climate: where we can enjoy all four seasons in short stretches, given that the predominant temperature is "summer"; this makes my memories more closely related to it. Por una cuestión familiar al cumplir ocho años de edad con mi madre nos mudamos a un barrio ¨Medio¨-¨rural¨: donde las calles eran de arena y las veredas de césped, había pocas casas y muchas de ellas estaban en medio de un bosque; la casa donde vivíamos estaba pegado a un gran bosque y la ventana de mi habitación daba a grandes árboles, mi ventana miraba hacia la ¨salía¨ del ¨sol¨ lo que hacía que cada despertar fuera mágico
Due to a family issue, when my mother and I turned eight years old, we moved to a neighborhood ¨Medio¨ - ¨rural¨: where the streets were made of sand and the sidewalks were made of grass, there were few houses and many of them were in the middle of a forest; The house where we lived was next to a large forest and my bedroom window overlooked large trees. A unas tres cuadras de casa terminaba la ¨urbanización¨ del barrio, desde ahí en adelante había pequeños senderos hecho por los animales que caminaban por allí; con mis amigos acostumbrábamos a caminar hasta llegar a un claro donde había una enorme laguna, este era nuestro lugar favorito para pasar gran parte de los días de las ¨vacaciones¨ de ¨veranos¨. En la otra orilla de la laguna había una cañada que bordeaba una hermosa pradera llena de flores silvestres, este lugar era como sacada de un¨ libro¨ de ¨cuentos¨ la sensación de correr por allí no se podría expresar en palabras
About three blocks from home, the neighborhood's "urbanization" ended. From there on, there were small paths made by the animals that roamed there. My friends and I used to walk until we reached a clearing where there was a huge lagoon. This was our favorite place to spend most of our "summer" vacation days. On the other side of the lagoon was a ravine bordering a beautiful meadow full of wildflowers. This place was like something out of a "storybook." The feeling of running through there couldn't be expressed in words.

La ¨vibraciones¨ del ¨verano¨ llega a lo profundo de mi corazón, es como si me fuera de viaje a esos preciosas años de mi niñes, sobre todo cuando visito la enorme reserva que tengo cerca de casa, estar allí me recuerda todos esos bellos momentos en que viví en ese precioso barrio. Ver el fruto rojo del ¨mburucuyᨠ: me viene un sentir en la boca, ese sabor dulce acido tan particular del fruto, es en estos momentos, que al parecer el tiempo se detiene, y los aromas de las hierbas del predio me recuerda a esos ¨veranos¨ de mi niñes. Siempre agradecido de tener nuestra ¨camara¨ : para poder inmortalizar estos bellos momentos que vivo al visitar esta hermosa reserva
The "vibes" of "summer" reach deep within my heart. It's like I'm going back to those precious years of my childhood. Especially when I visit the huge reserve near my house. Being there reminds me of all those beautiful moments I lived in that beautiful neighborhood. Seeing the red fruit of the ¨mburucuyᨠ: a sensation comes to my mouth, that sweet and sour flavor so particular to the fruit, it is in these moments, that it seems that time stops, and the aromas of the herbs of the property remind me of those ¨summers¨ of my childhood. Always grateful to have our ¨camera¨ : to be able to immortalize these beautiful moments that I live when visiting this beautiful reserve

Whenever I walk through the reserve, I have fond memories of the fatherhood in the neighborhood where I grew up.
