The views that pay

So far the world has revolved to the point that a lot of things have been happening, new innovations that have made the world a lot better, or should I say, have made the world a better place for everyone. There is one thing that I've noticed so far, which is the fact that when I have a data subscription and a good battery percentage in my phone, I don't think I will be bored because the moment I open those social media applications, I will get to see so many things that will brighten my mood.

Just like what happened recently, I was a bit into the weather, and it started affecting my mood, so I found myself developing mood swings. At some point, I started transferring that mood swing to those around me, and you might be wondering who suffered the most? Well, it was my nig sister because at every moment I was so pissed at her for even doing the right thing. So instead of working myself up with anger I decided to do something else. And that is where the content thing came into the picture.

I started going through feeds on the different social media platforms and I found my mood been lifted little by little, I feel like on the internet there will always be something to brighten my mood "maybe my mood wasn't that bad after all though" so social media and the different contents that our content creators put out there is something that I find interesting and then for the fact that they get to earn from it is what even makes more interesting.

Nobody knew from the onset that these social media platforms were going to be an avenue for people to make money and live the kind of life they've always dreamed of. I've seen, still on the internet, how these content creators have been able to fund their lavish and luxurious lifestyle. And sometimes they come out and be like "they aren't making a lot of money, but then the lifestyle is saying a different thing entirely".

Social media came into our lives at the right time, and some people have made use of it to escape the 9-5 job daily routine. Content creators make their daily bread from creating content, and sometimes this content isn't even the money they make, but then there is nothing we can do to stop it because it's their life, and how they get to live is their choice to make.

People put different content out there, even the ones that aren't educational, yet they get paid for it. Whatever is put out there doesn't matter; what matters is for the viewers, or should I say the streamers, to filter whatever they see online and not watch something that isn't great to the eye.

When social media came into our lives, I believe that without the invention of social media, "Hive" wouldn't have come into our lives as well, the whole thing of earning online wouldn't have been in existence, and I'm glad I get to experience this part as well. In conclusion, we have the power to control what content is put out here, but then the only thing we get to control is what we watch, so the veto power lies in our hands to be mindful of the things we watch on the internet.
