Audio hugs and chats
Friendship can be built in so many ways, and currently, the evolution and advancement of social media has made that happen as well. We've been able to build connections online with people we haven't seen in person, but we feel very comfortable talking to them.
They came into our lives through the online space. These people are amazing and have made life a lot easier for us because we get to talk and share different ideas, and not forgetting creating memories. Despite the friendship being online, or should I say "audio," just the former P-Square musician will say, anything that isn't physical is called what? "Audio".
Back then when people say they met certain people who are in their Iives right now on the internet, I would be like "are you serious with so much curiosity taking over my being" then I will go further into saying you don't mean it "like how come" such things always come to me as a very big surprise because I rarely converse on the internet expect with family members "weird right?" I know.
Then I came into the platform called "Hive" and I made alot of genuine connection which we still communicate till this day, well it still feels a little weird because I never thought I would find myself doing this online friendship thing but life happens, we can meet people anywhere and anyhow, the place we met them doesn't matter, so you know what matters "its the amazing individuals we've met" and how they've lighten our world with their amazing presence.
I know online friendship is way different from the physical one in so many ways. I know the online friendship deprives us of certain things like hanging out and spending quality time together, "now that is being lacking," but then nothing is a barrier.
I don't think distance is a barrier because as long as we are based in the nation, I think there is every possibility that one day we will meet and create those incredible memories that we've always been talking about. except my online friends aren't based in my nation which is gonna make it a little difficult to see each other physically, but then the life we live is unpredictable, so anything can happen.
I cherish every one of my friendships, both the ones online and offline, and I treat them equally because they all have a special place in my heart. I know we feel the physical friendship is more valuable because of the contact we make, then sometimes the connection might really be authentic. "Now I'm being serious," except that the person in question is serious and genuine because friendship is built on authenticity.
I've come to the conclusion that both of them have some cons and pros but then nothing can be compared to the face-to-face friendship I make unlike the online friendship where we get to share every part of our just enabling them to have a clip of everything happening in our lives so they won't be left out of the picture "now that sounds like alot of work" but then we can do anything for the people we love.
I can't really tell which is better, but what I'm gonna say is the fact that it all boils down to the individuals involved and the effort being put into making the friendship work. Any relationship that involves two or more persons requires effort to be put in place in order to make it work.
Thanks for reading 🧡

A sad fact is that you actually never get to meet some of your online friends. You just know they exist and you love them from that distance. Speaking from personal perspective
Yeahh, it boils down to the people involved.
I have met a lot of good people online and I appear good to them too.
I have met a lot of people online that we quarrel a lot and that quarrel-ness is what's keeping us together. Lol😂
I love your last part. It’s depends on the people involve and how they want to make it more authentic between themselves. Friendship can happen at anywhere and if we want it to be the best ever ones, then we can do it. It’s left for us to make it happen.
