TRYING SOMETHING NEW: MY INTRODUCTORY POST

A warm hello to everybody!

My name is Veron Iyamu-Osas and I'm a native of Edo state, Benin city, in the south-south region of Nigeria.
My last name is quite interesting, isn't it?
Well, my dad's last name is Iyamu and for some reason I'm not so sure of, he wanted his kids to stand out in the extended family so he chose to add his name (Osas) to our last name. So, while he bears Iyamu, his children use Iyamu-Osas as our last name.

As for my first name; Veron, it's of South American origin and it means "True image". I came across a translation that interpreted true image as Love and ever since then, whenever people ask the meaning of my name I say Love.

My Username is a combination of my name, Veron and Unique.
This gives the name Veronique and the 11-04 at the end is my birthday (11th of April).

HOW I GOT INTO HIVE
I got to know about Hive through my friend @hemmykies. He thought that I really had potential to work with Hive.
He introduced me to his sister @d-honeyb and she gently and sweetly taught me how to navigate Hive.

MORE ABOUT ME
I am a 400L student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). I happen to be in my final lap as an undergraduate and I am super excited to be closing this chapter of my life and starting a new one.

I am from a family of 7; my mum, dad, four siblings and I. Growing up with my siblings was one of the best memories in my life. Having a big family is so exciting and entertaining but it also has it's downsides but I love my siblings so much and won't trade them for anything in the world.

I'm a middle child and contrary to the idea that we are usually neglected and forgotten, I grew up with all the attention and love that I need.

I'm quite reserved but I never fail to speak up in the face of injustice or when something just doesn't sit right with me. I can be very talkative around my family and close friends.

Music has always been a part of me for as long I can remember. I can still recall begging my mum for a headphone when I was little. The headphone was with me everywhere and was always playing. My love for music and singing is quite dynamic and I am pretty good when it comes to singing😉.

Korean drama and Korean pop are my favourite. Although I see other movie genres as long as they are interesting and entertaining.
