Risk Of Dealing And Over Trusting People

For me life is full of risk because we must always encounter problems of all kinds, some will bring experience, others will leave us with lessons. But these are the only way we can keep moving on in life.

I can say that risk is what brings greater future in the lives of many who damed every consequences and went on to try those things that seemed impossible. Risk is what those who got rich in one way or the other took to get to where they got to, but its never easy because only those with great mind takes risk.

I have been in many kinds of risk, including the ones I will invest money and will be hoping to get returns, but suddenly it will that the company has eloped with people”s money or that the goods I ordered online could not reach my end because of how delivery is not properly channeled.

But the one risk I will never forget easily is the one that happened of recent. And this very event is because of my kind of person who usually believe in people. I have this man that usually brings hours helps for people because he has the connections. All you need do is just tell him the kind of person you need as girl house help. Pay him some commission and mobilize him for the trip since he knows them from the villages.

When I was having my children, he usually help me out until my mother decides to come stay with us then . And now that my children are grown, I don’t involve with house help again. The house keeper just comes in once a week to clean and most times I do laundry 🧺 by myself and other important clothings to the dry cleaner.

Then it now happens that a friend of mine needed a house help because her kids are still small. And because she works 9:00 - 5:00 , she needs to help herself not to break down with house choirs. So I decided to call this man that I have known for years to help bring a young teenager that can handle things properly. This is where I put myself in a very big risk. The house help this man brought looks so innocent and was good the first few months she arrived. Then my friend trusted her and stopped being so cautious of things with her.

This is when the devil entered the girls head after the fifth month, because one day during the past April she decided to pack all my friends jewelries, some up keep cash she usually keep at home for emergency, her international passport, that of her children and left the house. It was as if she came with a motive waiting for the right time to strike. This very act shows that times has really changed.

I was in a big shock when my friend called me one evening narrating what has happened in her house. I screamed aloud and immediately called the man who brought her. He was more than surprised because he new this girl from the village. To cut the story short, he called the village but the parents said they have not seen or hard from her.

I made the man who brought her to travel to the village immediately to know if the parents were lying but it happened she did not go straight to the village. And as we began to make enquiries, we found that she had a boy friend before she left the village. I told the man to go to the police station to report the case . I had to send money to the man to mobilize the police men to find out about this very boy. And after a day or two, some boys within the village gave information of how the boy told them he will be going to a city near the village. The police 👮‍♂️ men was able to locate this very boy and the girl in a small hotel 🏨 in the that city 🌆. They were arrested, Luckily, the international passport was recovered but the jewelries and money were gone.

The girl later confessed that the boy was the person that asked her to steal and leave the house. Directed her on how to board a vehicle 🚗 to the city where they met. Both of them were sent into the cell. And they will be there until we decide how to recover all the money for the jewelries and the cash. A big risk on my head but I know it will pass.
