Good Services

This is my entry to the Hive Learners weekly contest.

The child welfare support scheme is agencies that are trying in one way or another to help the children's welfare in the environment. The welfare really has great effects on the children's health in what they are doing. They are trying in order to have a positive effect on children. They care greatly about the welfare of children, trying to make sure that children are really cared for and their needs are met. They try to make sure that children are not maltreated by their parents and their guardians in places in which they are.

Normally in this, our Nigerian setting, I won't say that the welfare is so rigid to the extent of now trying to break up people's homes. Oh yes, they might be concerned about children, but whatever goes on within seems not to be a big issue. Training up children in different ways is the responsibility of the parents, and they are always allowed to do that in the same way they are supposed to do it. So far, it is not violating the rules of the society.

Our country is not like the country where you can't flog or beat your children. Oh no, if some of us tell you the type of discipline we were subjected to, you might even marvel that this really exists and can be done to children. It was not easy, but it was believed that it was a way to help in training children towards becoming better children in the society at large. I don't think their efforts can even cause problems that involve breaking up a home. They might have their works, but of a truth, it is limited. In this Nigeria in which I and my brothers and sisters are, their works are really limited; they can not function in some ways.

There are really good ways in which they might function very well to help both the parents and their children.

They should restrict arresting the parents of children. One thing is that when parents flog their children and they report investigation should be made. Also, when they are now made and measures are wanted to be taken, children should always not be taken at the front of the child. Sometimes it might make the child always know that whatever he or she might do, he or she would still be supported, and yet his or her own parents would be punished.

Also, children would also be made to understand the good things that they are supposed to do. They should be made to know that their parents are in full rights to train them in the good way they are supposed to. All things in which their parents are doing, they should be made to understand that really it is done out of great love.

Good services should always be rendered, setting good priorities for the betterment of all 🙏.
