[EN/PT-BR] What would be my next destination?

If there's one thing I don't do much in my life, it's traveling. I know there are people who live for it, who love it, but I've never been one of those types and, as strange as it may be and people keep saying I'm wasting my life, I believe that everyone has their own way of enjoying life. Everyone gives themselves in their own way to something they like and love and I think that's what we have to do, discover what we like and, with that, live for it, love it until the end!

So does that mean I never travel or think about it? Not exactly, in 2024, in July, I took my first trip outside the state where I live. It was my first time doing everything, flying, sea, beach, it was a first experience that was sensational, because I loved every second of it, there were many days of joy, enjoying every moment with my family. We went to the state of Bahia, we stayed in a guesthouse and everything there was new, the way people lived, being able to go to the beach, feel the wind, the calm and tranquility of that place, it was the most incredible thing in my opinion.

With that, my wife was able to show me that even for a nerd like me, who loves to sit in front of the computer doing everything (right now living the Hive haha), it's great to be able to travel, to disconnect from everything! If I'm not mistaken, it was 9 days, so practically all of that was just relaxing with lots of beer, delicious food, good music, beach and sea. It was something fantastic for me, because I didn't just travel physically, I traveled in my mind, leaving a world, a routine that I've lived in for so many years, so it was an expansion of everything I feel and have experienced up until now.

For the future, I want to see if we can go to Maranhão. My wife has some relatives there, so we would stay at their house, which is good, since we would save money on accommodation. I don't really know what is different there from Bahia. Since both states are in the northeast of Brazil, I think they must have similar climates and, of course, beaches and sea! I think the accent in Maranhão is also different from that of Bahia, which could be cool too, hearing new words and new meanings.

I wonder if the culture of both places is the same? The food, the leisure activities? Well, all of this is something I would discover with my wife's relatives, in addition to interacting with other people. I think I would love to talk to more people, understand how they live and what they do. There is also the possibility of traveling to Caldas Novas, which is a tourist city here in Goiás, so I wouldn't need to leave the state and it is known for its thermal waters, that is, heated pools, lots of beautiful people, good food and, of course, lots of fun.

Anyway, traveling is wonderful, although I wasn't very excited about the idea, when I did it for the first time, I loved it and I really want to do it more often, to disconnect, to look for other places, new connections, moments, photos to take, all of this is something I want to do more often. And of course, to participate here at Hive with my friends! I hope to have more news and content about some trips I take very soon to share with you all!

Se tem uma coisa que não faço muito na minha vida, é viajar. Sei que há pessoas que vivem por isso, que amam isso, mas eu nunca fui desses tipos e, por mais que isso seja estranho e as pessoas vivam falando que estou desperdiçando a minha vida, acredito que cada um tem o seu jeito de aproveitar a vida. Cada um se entrega de um jeito para algo que gosta e ama e acho que isso é o que temos que fazer, descobrir do que gostamos e, com isso, viver por isso, amar isso até o fim!

Então quer dizer que nunca viajo ou penso nisso? Não exatamente, em 2024, no mês de julho, eu fiz a minha primeira viagem para fora do estado onde moro. Primeira vez em tudo, avião, mar, praia, toda uma primeira experiência que foi sensacional, pois amei cada segundo, foram muitos dias de alegria, aproveitando cada momento com a minha família. Fomos para o estado da Bahia, ficamos em uma pousada e tudo ali era novidade, como o pessoal vivia, poder ir à praia, sentir o vendo, a calma e tranquilidade daquele lugar, foi a coisa mais incrível na minha visão.

Com isso, a minha esposa conseguiu me mostrar que até mesmo para um nerd como eu, que ama ficar na frente do computador fazendo de tudo (agora no momento vivendo a Hive haha), é ótimo poder viajar, se desligar de tudo! Se não me engano, foram 9 dias, então praticamente tudo isso somente descansando com muita cerveja, comida gostosa, boas músicas, praia e mar. Foi algo fantástico para mim, porque eu não somente viajei fisicamente, eu viajei na minha mente, saindo de um mundo, uma rotina que vivo ha tantos anos, então foi uma expansão de tudo o que sinto e vivi até o momento.

Para o futuro, quero ver se vamos para o Maranhão. A minha esposa tem alguns familiares lá, então ficaríamos na casa desse pessoal, o que é bom, já que iríamos economizar com a estadia. Não sei bem o que difere de lá, do que foi na Bahia. Como ambos os estados ficam no nordeste do Brasil, acredito que eles devem ter clima parecido e claro, praias e mar! Acho que o sotaque também do Maranhão tem suas diferenças em relação ao da Bahia, o que pode ser legal também, escutar novas palavras, novos significados.

Será que a cultura dos dois lugares são iguais? A alimentação, os lazeres? Bem, tudo isso é algo que iria descobrir, com esses parentes da minha esposa, além da convivência com outras pessoas. Acho que eu iria adorar conversar com mais pessoas, entender como elas vivem e o que fazem. Existe também a possibilidade de viajar para Caldas Novas, sendo uma cidade turística aqui em Goiás, então não precisaria sair do estado e lá é conhecido por suas águas termais, ou seja, piscinas aquecidas, muita gente bonita, comida boa e com certeza muita diversão.

Enfim, viajar é maravilhoso, apesar de não me animar muito com a ideia, quando fiz isso pela primeira vez, amei e realmente quero fazer mais vezes, me desligar, procurar outros lugares, novas conexões, momentos, fotos para tirar, tudo isso é algo que quero repetir mais vezes. E claro, participar aqui na Hive com meus amigos! Espero muito em breve ter mais novidades e conteúdo sobre alguma viagem que eu fizer para compartilhar com todos vocês!
