The fear, called unknown

When the holy scripture tells us not to be anxious about tomorrow, I only think it was just an ordinary saying not knowing it's deep in its own self. The assertion do not care or be anxious of tomorrow but that tomorrow will take care of itself has deep meaning and this is because being anxious is not a thing of today, it's been in existence right from the ages past and it will not even end during this our own time, it will always continue.

One thing that I have always known about being anxious is that it comes with fear and this particular fear to me can be said to be the fear of what is to come which is otherwise known as the fear of the unknown. In fact, I can boldly say that everyone is a victim of this monster called anxiety.

Being anxious has no respect for anyone irrespective of their status in the society. Being rich doesn't mean that you will not be anxious, in fact the rich are more anxious than the poor and this is because of the fear of going down to the poor state. Also, the poor are also found victims of this menace because of the competition being created by their friends around them.

The most disturbing thing nowadays is how people even flaunt their fake life on social media. This act alone has sent so many to depression as a result of the unnecessary competition that has plagued their heart which has really created fear in their heart.

Though, it's good to be ambitious and think big, but notwithstanding, being anxious about it should not be the only ladder to climb into the vision or dream.

For someone like me, one thing that's making me anxious is my finances. Though I have been working hard and smart, but to be sincere, my financial strength has not been able to measure to the level of my wish. Though I'm not living badly, I still want more when it comes to my financial capacity. So, for this reason, I'm always pressing on to making more money, but even with my pressing on, nothing has really changed.

Now, with every of my effort not yielding the expected result, the fear of the unknown of what would become my lot at the end is already creeping in and this has really been affecting me and my productivity for a while now.Infact, I have been moving in and out of depression.

But recently, when I realized that being anxious would not solve any of these things before me. I decided to take things softly without thinking of what would happen next and this is because I believe God Almighty holds my future and also, I believe that with strong determination and resilience I will be able to achieve all those things that seem impossible for me to achieve.

So, since I have realized that, life has been made easy for me to live in, and since then, peace of mind has been mine. Though human wants are insatiable, I have tried to be satisfied with what I have and hoping for a brighter future through my determination and hard work.
