Charity and its principle

Greetings!

Charity is one of the most rewardable things that I think everyone should do with a heart of willingness and sincerity, but these days, the reverse is the case as people now do it just for attention which to me is against the principle of giving or charity.

Aside from this principle of charity which is meant to be private in doing, even, the Holy Bible is even against the habit of giving to be noticed. No wonder the Holy Bible says that your left hand must not know what your right hands do, especially when it comes to giving.

But in this time, the reverse is the case as people only give to be recognised. Nowadays, people don't give to people out of their own sincerity anymore, they only give to be validated or endorsed which is not too good for the principle of giving.

Aside from this, those people who are also seeking help from people are not also doing well as in most cases, most of their actions in seeking help from are fake and that's why it's somehow difficult to know who is indeed in need which on the other way round is making those people who believed they are givers to make their giving known to the whole world both on and offline.

Furthermore, the case of the middle men is another issue that's hindering the genuine giving of people. Most of these so-called middle men are in the habit of mismanaging the fund donor to them for giving.

This is not even limited to the NGO alone as we also have the spiritual bodies that are also diverting funds meant to help the poor and the needy to their own personal use or to another project which is quite different from what the fund is being earmarked for.

I have seen a church diverting funds meant for the poor and needy to building a gigantic edifice. Although, this is good, but at the same time, it would have been better if used for it purpose.

However, ever since I have got to know that most of people's donations including money are often diverted to other things or used for personal vendetta by people, I have made it a point of duty to directly give to those that are in need instead of going through the middlemen, the church or the NGOs and with this, I have been able to touch more lives directly without being hindered by the activities of those people .

So, giving directly to the poor and the needy has always been the only way which I have devised in tackling the bottleneck in my giving to people and I can tell us for sure that this has really worked and as I am happy so also those that have benefited from my act of kindness which is devoid of publication to the whole world.

In conclusion, giving or charity should be done with the heart of sincerity which should be devoid of seeking attention and being noticed by others.

This is my entry to week 191, edition 02 of the weekly featured contest in the Hivelearners community.

Thanks for reading.

Giving is now made open so the world would see it and applaud the givers so that they won't lack. I know the world is changing, but then this aspect should join the change.

There will always be bad eggs, however, when people lack understanding they develop a view opposite to the truth.

Directly given to the poor is the best option instead of giving of different NGOs. I also give directly to needy people.
