Never give up

Sometimes, taking a step might seem difficult because we are scared to lose, or let me just say we don't know what the outcome might be, but if we don't move further we can't see if we are about to fail or win.

Some people have this habit of getting scared to start something, while some are not scared at the beginning but when they get to the middle they will feel like quitting because they are scared of what's ahead.

Hive is not my first platform to blog, I have mentioned that in some of my articles before but the difference between where I was coming from to Hive is just that I am new to Hive Blockchain.

If you have been reading some of my articles for some time now, you will notice the difference between my writing then and now. My first article on Hive was like I was being forced to write it because I found it difficult to start all over again after the platform I was stopped functioning.

The second article broke my heart, because I felt as if I wasn't welcomed here on Hive Blockchain because I never knew the rules and regulations of Hive. All I did was to post and then leave my article, then come back to meet rewards on it.

After the second article, I didn't find Hive Blockchain fun to cope with so I stopped writing for some days, Even though I was jobless back then, I don't mind giving up on something that could fetch me money because the beginning is not inspiring at all.

When I got tired of not doing anything I came back to try again, there is one thing about humans and that thing is once we try something and it doesn't work out we don't think twice before giving up on it. Though some people do try again if the results don't show again that will be the end.

I tried again and the results were still the same but I couldn't think of anything to do than to ask people how they cope with this platform and I was told to be commenting around. All my efforts proved abortive but then I realized that commenting brings engagement to my post and I could also earn ecency points to boost my content as well.

I started writing back with the mindset of boosting my content if no one visited it but I was surprised that all I needed to do was to be consistent with my engagement on Hive Blockchain.

Some communities started rewarding my content and that was how my second comeback worked out. And now I no longer want to stay a day without making any content on Hive Blockchain.

Sometimes the first try might seem hard but if we don't give up the outcome will definitely be good. The experience taught me never to give up easily even though things don't work out as soon as I wanted.

Yeah, sometimes the good things don't usually begin to yield when we expect them to unless we're consistent. I'm so glad you didn't give up. 😇

Sometimes it's hard to not give up especially in an all is lost moment. It was a good thing you kept up the good work and seeked for ways to be better

Perseverance and consistency are the keywords to survive on this platform. I am glad that you didn't give up.

If only we can persist, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Borrowing some advice from you because I have similar experience. Consistency will always pay.

You are absolutely right, if we don't give up on time we will definitely get through the hard time

All I did was to post and then leave my article, then come back to meet rewards on it.

This is funny cos i also did this when i first joined this platform, i will just post and wont check on others til the next day lol

It was later i realized it doesn't work that way, you must also give back to the community by supporting others.

Though I was not really concerned about the monetary part when I started writing on hive but my first post which was introductory post encouraged me a little because in the comment section a lot of people were suggesting Ideas and advising me the next step I need to take to assist my hive career.

Regardless the life of a newbie on hive is never easy, it quite challenging, especially for those who doesn't have any idea of how the blockchain works.

I'm glad it all worked out in the end.

At all it wasn't easy to survive as a newbie and that was the first that that discouraged me

Tbh I just write for the sake of writing. Engagement has never been really any interest for me (you can tell by the lack of engagement in my own content haha)

It's quite rare, I think, to find people who simply enjoy writing. Most people here are here for the money and when the money doesn't come, or it's not enough, they leave.

I've been here so many years precisely because I don't really care. I just want a place to put my brain XD - nothing to be discouraged about in this mindset!
