Citizens Should Not Suffer The Consequences Of Their Leaders' Action.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the hive learner's featured post. Sometimes being just a citizen of a country can land you in more troubles than you can count. You can be living a peaceful life, running your business, and going about your day-to-day activities like you always do, only for the government of your country to make a decision or take an action that will bring all of that to an end, take away the peaceful and quiet life you crave and have always wanted, and replace it with chaos. You might think maybe because you are outside the country, the bad decisions of your country's government have nothing on you, but it is not so.

You can be abroad, and your country's decision or your ties to a particular country will come haunting you, which makes it important that whether within the country or outside the country, as long as you have ties to the country, you should follow up on happenings about the country and still try to hold the leaders accountable for their every move, as you don't know when they will make a decision or take an action that will cause things to come crashing down for you.
Sometimes I don't blame citizens who are always trying to hold their government accountable for every action because some actions by the government will always find a way to haunt you. You can be living a normal life and trying to find your feet in the world that is full of ups and downs, only for your country's government to make a single decision that makes things even worse. In 2021/2022, the former owner of Chelsea football club, who had been the owner since 2003, was forced to sell off the club or lose it all. All of this was because of the sanction after Russia invaded Ukraine, and he (the former owner of Chelsea in the person of Roman Abramovich) had ties to the country.
The decision and action of his country's government caused him to lose an investment and business he had owned for almost two decades. This investment was not even in his country; it was in the UK, but somehow his country's actions still found a way to take that away from him. During that period, Russians had a lot to deal with. Many Russian footballers almost had their careers ruined just because of their country's actions, which they had no knowledge of until it was executed.

My answer is no, citizens should not be allowed to suffer the consequences of their leaders' actions, just like in the case of the former Chelsea owner who lost something he had owned for so long all because of his country's government's action against Ukraine. The only reason a citizen should suffer the consequences of their leaders' actions or decisions is if they support the decision or action. If they support it, then I can consider them equal participants, but if they don't, then they should not have to deal with the consequences that follow.
Yes, you are right..Citizens are not meant to bear the consequences of their bad leader. Everyone should bear their own cross without affecting the innocent ones
This is a clear case of the sins of the fathers visiting the children, the fact that we suffer from what the bad leaders have done is very bad 😞.
I also agree citizen should not suffer the stupid of the leaders, let them face their failed wrath like that.
Infact there's no reason as to what citizens should suffer, see us here struggling day by day and there they are spending money living life.
Yes, citizens shouldn't bear the consequences of their leaders. When their leaders was signing an agreement the citizens wasn't their but when something happen they will start insulting the citizens who are innocent.

STOPExactly my point. Some citizens are also supporting the leaders’ decisions when they could be fighting for the good of others. When selfish interests are involved, there is nothing no one can do to sell their birthright thereby affecting others.
Everyone should answer for their actions. The leaders too. Not that it's we innocent people that they will pour everything upon
