No Phone Zone - My Gateway Route
If I could be given another nickname relating to what I do most of my time everyday, it would be a nickname with the word "Phone" in it π I'm always on my mobile phone and it would be safe to say I'm actually addicted to always holding or pressing my phone.
My family members and friends know this about me that they tagged me lazy and somehow I don't feel bad about it especially after finding out I could actually stay on my phone and earn money.
Regardless of how much I want to be on my phone and how long, there are the "No Phone Zones" for me and how I go about those times is what I'll be sharing in this post.

I'd like to emphasis that it isn't for me to part with my mobile, someone even made a joke that it would be hard for me to forget my phone somewhere since I'll always be pressing something in it π it is that serious.
But when it is time to sleep, my phone finally takes it's well deserved rest. Mind you, I've had long nights where I couldn't part with my phone because of so many activities I had to do sometimes, I just couldn't sleep. But if there's one zone that I don't use my phone, it's my sleeping time.
I know that is a regular zone for many but it's different with me because I could actually decide not to let the phone rest and stay awake, but I know the health implications so I try my best to let my phone get some rest.
Image is mine
My phone get to rest when I'm in service to God or saying my prayers. I had to fight the bad habit of using my phone while in service, even though I still do it sometimes, it is definitely a "no phone zone" for me most of the times. To stick to this resolve, I usually have my phone on silent or placed far from me.
Another time my phone gets to go on a break is when I'm singing or chatting with friends although this is subjective to some changes. If I'm having fun chatting with friends, I'd leave my phone alone but not when the chat is boring and I have to get busy with something else (my phone of course).
I thought I could add that I don't use my phone when I'm studying but I can't remember twice out ten times where I did left my phone alone to study, I would always find an excuse to use it alongside studying. You could say I really can't stay without my phone.
Ever since I found Hive, I got even more addicted to my phone and I'm more than happy that I'm not being addicted for nothing. The knowledge I've gained, the money I've been able to save, the financial crisis I've been able to overcome and everything good I've gained from Hive is more than enough to get addicted.
My No phone zones aren't much but those little times, I get to keep myself in check to not overdo it and lose what's more important, my health. One of the rare things I do away from my phone is reflecting and thinking of things to put in place, although my phone might come in when I need yo search through the net for something about my thoughts... Oh no! I use my phone in my "no phone" zones π
This is my response to Hive learners prompt and you're invited to share your no phone zones as well.

.So there a zone known as a no phone zone area? Interesting.. I think you are actually right. I would always stay away from my phone during my time with God and also when I am sleeping. But aside these times, it would be when I am making money.. π
Lol it's same case for many π
Most of us here in hive are phone addicts, no negotiations π
It's been a battle with me and my phone... using it in the church has been once in a while especially when I want to catch up with the city giveaway π€¦π€¦π€£
But I stopped already..I now leave it in the car once we get to the church and enter inside the church without the phone as a disciplined nkem π
Haha it's same for me except that I still take my phone along but try not to use it while still in service π
Sleeping time is the natural break time for us and it's necessary. In the time of prayer, I also don't consider the mobile with me because I fully concentrate on my prayer and it's natural in my eyes.
I do my study on my mobile or PC. So, I don't have any escape way from mobile in this case.
By the way, You also forgot to add that when battery drain occurs, It also can isolate you from mobile. Isn't it?π€£π€£
Haha yeah, it's some for many
I hardly let my device battery go off π but yeah, that's another time I let my phone be too.
Sleep is master of all, no matter how hard we try to probing its time, it still catches up, reading so far different entries, this is the strongest reason most of us can actually have a break time from our phones,
I have also tried to stop using phone in church, in fact it was announced that no phone during church service for workers, so the discipline has to show face by forceπ€¦ββοΈ
Lol it's same for me o
I can't even use the phone in service if I want to, they could embarrass you π
Oh ye Redmi (Xiaomi) people, I celebrate you..π
True enough, the smartphone has allowed us the opportunity to do certain things that usually needs to be done in a computer. And I want to believe that those producing these phones actually want their clients to be forever focused on it. But it is left to us to draw certain boundaries with it..
Lol what happened to Redmi people π
It's actually important we set boundaries with the way we use our phones.
Nothing ooo.. π But we know them as money-men.
