🌿 Ancestral Medicine Hijacked by Pharmaceutical Companies

My title may be somewhat controversial, but in a way, it’s something that can’t be denied.

Many call it progress, but if they took the trouble to read the fine print that accompanies pharmaceutical medications on their boxes, they would realize that while they may relieve certain symptoms or cure in some cases, they always—and this is true in 100% of cases—present long- or medium-term side effects.

People with chronic illnesses who take medication for life can attest to this.

I’ll give you the example of my mother, who suffers from high blood pressure. She cannot stop taking the medications that regulate her pressure, because the consequences would be very serious—as they were when she had a stroke.

Her medicines keep her stable, but at the same time, they damage her stomach. So in addition to those pills, she has to take pills for the acidity caused by the other pills.

All for the lesser evil. But what official medicine—science and laboratories—doesn’t tell us is that almost all pharmaceuticals originate from nature. From plants, minerals, and in some cases, even animals.

All the natural remedies for which so many wise women were persecuted, called witches or sorceresses, and many burned at the stake, are now used by pharmaceutical companies that even patent those ancestral human knowledges for their own benefit.

There’s a medicine that many of you may know, commercially called “Novalgina,” indicated for flu or feverish states, which is derived from the plant of the same name.

At almost 40 years old, I found out that the Novalgina plant exists and has many more healing properties than the drug could offer—without the dangers of side effects.

Of course, I’m not saying that natural remedies can’t cause harm, because as a famous thinker once said—or at least the phrase is attributed to him—“Everything is poison, nothing is poison,” since even something harmless in excess can cause damage if not taken in the right measure.

That’s why I believe—and have proven in myself—that nature is a good, cheap, and effective option for many ailments, for which doctors only prescribe medications from the big pharmaceutical companies that organize those lovely medical conferences with so many gifts.

If you don’t believe me, I’ll share a case I posted recently in a Hive community:

https://ecency.com/hive-120078/@ladyaryastark/miraculous-cilantro-and-oregano-milagrosos)

A couple of months ago, I suffered an uncomfortable urinary tract infection that, besides causing pain, kept me from sleeping because I felt the need to go to the bathroom every few hours.

Seeing a doctor wasn’t an option, since the wait times easily exceed 3 hours, and I couldn’t have waited that long without dying from the urge to go.

I searched online for natural remedies for my symptoms, and the answer was: oregano and cilantro infusions.

Since I had plenty of both herbs in my shop—and as they say, trying doesn’t cost anything—I began my “treatment.” To my surprise, within a few days the symptoms began to improve, and today I can say I’m fully recovered, without spending on remedies that would have cost at least 100 times more than the infusions.

Of course, I’m not advising anyone to abandon their medical treatment, but I would suggest asking your doctor whether natural medicine can be used in your specific case. If there are no contraindications, explore the possibilities that nature offers us. Cheers to health!

https://ecency.com/hive-120078/@ladyaryastark/miraculous-cilantro-and-oregano-milagrosos

Salud!

There's a man not too far from where I live, he has about seven different pills he has to take every day. Five of them are for his ailments, and two are meant to counteract or ease the effects of the other five pills on his body system. And this is something he has to do for the rest of his life.

A little suggestion though (not that you did anything wrong😎)
You could try hiding your links. That is, instead of posting them bare the way you did, you can make it a part of your post. Something like this:

[Write your word here](place the link here)
And then, the word(s) that's in the square bracket becomes a clickable link. Which makes for a smoother reading.

So, just a friendly suggestion.😇
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thanks for your support and suggestion, I thought that was safer for people see what they are going to click if they want to do it. But maybe you are right and it's better to hide the links, I appreciate your tips for a better blogging 😊

You're right that herbal medicines need to be experimented upon and intergrated in a better way with our current medicine system to develop a more holistic understanding
