Why School Didn’t Prepare Me for Life: Hard Truths from the Real World

Growing up I've learnt many things by just being in the school reading all those books have added to my knowledge but it doesn't really prepare you for the real world

The real life is far too difficult than the one they create an image in the school and I happened to realise it early in my age

Since the life I had was never easy from the beginning I had to go out and search for the job when I was around 14 years old.

So it taught me things or lessons I was never gonna learn from any school, it only comes from the experience.

As long as you're useful, you're good but the moment

You stop being any good or useful to other it's like you don't even exist to them and I have experienced that no one even in your family will give up on you

The moment you loose the job and stop fulfilling their needs, the taunts and everyone will be just fed up from you

The way they'll talk is going to rude, won't expect anything from you

But once again when you're working and providing you'll eventually be loved by them again.

Happen to read Franz Kafka book recently and found out he kind of had the similar life than I had, the only difference was of time other than that everything that happened to him and I is almost similar.

that puts money on top

So everyone who says money can't fix everything they're wrong big cause everytime I have encountered any problems or was treated poorly was all because of not having money

Which is the ultimate thing that puts you to the places, get you the respect not just in society but family and other places.

You should say No everyday

The school has always taught to be good and always help others which is bullshit in present times you'll be exploited easily if you're being too good and helping others all the time

Like people often ask you please do this or that especially happens at workplace

So in these cases you're far better when you say No, sorry do it yourself than helping with that thing because when I was always helping it was like they kept on asking to do this and that... But if you had said No from the beginning they won't even dare to ask again unless they don't have self respect.

I kinda need to learn how to say no cause without saying no it becomes a lot difficult and I do hate schools for making me like "no shame to help others, just do it when someone asks for some help".

Wrapping Up...

In the end there's many more lessons that I've learnt on my own, not from the school and I believe we learn more by living and having actual experiences than by reading courses or school books

Schools are just necessary and basic required thing to function in the society other than real life experiences prepares you for everything more effectively.

Hopefully you do agree with the point I've shared and I'd love to know what's your thoughts on this in the comments.

Although school is great and taught us great lessons, it's understandable that it doesn't teach us most of the things that helps us survive the real world, just like you highlighted financial lessons and the likes.

With money, a person is easier in this world, he has more freedom. We can learn to grow our money ourselves. There is no need for a school here.
