The Roosvelt Accident and the supposed alien autopsy.

  On Monday I wrote about how I was more reliable to the mainstream source of news. One of the programs that I cited was called "Fantastico". It is a variety show, showing different types of reports. Once in a while, some bombastic reports could change the world's course, but they were more sensationalist than anything to get attention only. One of them created a big impact during the 90s. It was about a recorded supposed autopsy of an alien from the Roosevelt Accident. I had always hoped for the first reliable information about life outside Earth, and my age was a bit naive. I was probably around my 10th year of age.

  The Roosevelt accident is one of the most famous stories of extraterrestrial life supposed evidence, of course before the release of the Pentagon videos of unexplained flying objects. And with this stories started all the myth behind the famous Area 51. That probably is one of the most famous conspiracy theories which includes the US government hiding the fact that a flying source was responsible for shooting down a meteorological balloon. The UFO in theory fell down and the US army could analyse the extraterrestrial body and that footage would be a real video recorded in the late 40s.

  The footage actually was broadcasted before at Fox television and "Fantastico" only got the rights to broadcast. The video, if I remember well, was shocking showing the internal organs of the supposed alien during the autopsy. After the broadcast, everyone was a bit impressed. Many believed. After weeks people continued to debate if it was real or not. Only 10 years after the person who gave the video to Fox admitted that the footage was just a remake of what he was supposed to see live. The person who recorded the footage also said that everything was fake, animal organs were used and the alien body was a sculpture.

  Nowadays, I don't believe anymore in the extraterrestrial fact of the Roosevelt accident. I think that I even stopped to believe in the footage before the statements that I cited. I got more mature and started to question more about evidence with a low scientific basis. I remember other myths presented as reality in that show, such as the "Chupacabra" being seen in some cities of Brazil's interior and also the Varginha's extraterrestrial, another alien appearance but also in Brazil's interior.

  Recently we heard about some conspiracy theories, the more recent one was cited by the US candidate Donald Trump about immigrants in Ohio eating dogs and cats. This type of voice coming from a famous person who perhaps will lead the country is dangerous. Many people can believe on that and start pursuing other people, in this case immigrants who are hardworking and already suffer a lot of prejudice for not talking the same language and having the same cultural background. As I said in the previous post, we should always try to see different versions of the same story, this way we will avoid falling into the herd behavior.

  Na segunda-feira, escrevi sobre como eu era mais confiável para a fonte de notícias mainstream. Um dos programas que citei se chamava "Fantástico". É um programa de variedades, mostrando diferentes tipos de reportagens. De vez em quando, algumas reportagens bombásticas podiam mudar o curso do mundo, mas eram mais sensacionalistas do que qualquer coisa para chamar atenção apenas. Uma delas causou um grande impacto durante os anos 90. Era sobre uma suposta autópsia gravada de um alienígena do Acidente de Roosevelt. Eu sempre esperei pelas primeiras informações confiáveis ​​sobre a vida fora da Terra, e minha idade era um pouco ingênua. Eu provavelmente tinha cerca de 10 anos de idade.

  O acidente de Roosevelt é uma das histórias mais famosas de supostas evidências de vida extraterrestre, é claro, antes da divulgação dos vídeos do Pentágono de objetos voadores inexplicáveis. O vídeo, se bem me lembro, era chocante, mostrando os órgãos internos do suposto alienígena durante a autópsia. Depois da transmissão, todos ficaram um pouco impressionados. Muitos acreditaram. Depois de semanas, as pessoas continuaram a debater se era real ou não. Apenas 10 anos depois, a pessoa que deu o vídeo à Fox admitiu que a filmagem era apenas um remake do que ele deveria ver ao vivo. A pessoa que gravou a filmagem também disse que tudo era falso, órgãos de animais foram usados ​​e o corpo alienígena era uma escultura.

  Hoje em dia, não acredito mais no fato extraterrestre do acidente de Roosevelt. Acho que até parei de acreditar nas imagens antes das declarações que citei. Fiquei mais maduro e comecei a questionar mais sobre evidências com pouca base científica. Lembro de outros mitos apresentados como realidade naquele seriado, como o do "Chupacabra" sendo visto em algumas cidades do interior do Brasil e também o extraterrestre de Varginha, outra aparição alienígena mas também no interior do Brasil.

  Recentemente ouvimos falar de algumas teorias da conspiração, a mais recente foi citada pelo candidato americano Donald Trump sobre imigrantes em Ohio comendo cães e gatos. Esse tipo de voz vinda de uma pessoa famosa que talvez lidere o país é perigosa. Muitas pessoas podem acreditar nisso e começar a perseguir outras pessoas, neste caso imigrantes que são trabalhadores e já sofrem muito preconceito por não falarem a mesma língua e terem a mesma origem cultural. Como eu disse no post anterior, devemos sempre tentar ver versões diferentes da mesma história, assim evitaremos cair no comportamento de manada.
