Learning All the Science I can.

  Knowledge is something that I always appreciate! I am always very close to the new science discoveries, reading to the news, listening to podcasts, or getting deep in important scientific discoveries in my field, going directly to scientific articles. But it is impossible to absorb all the knowledge necessary to understand all the nature at once. I wish I could, because my greed is too big to understand everything that happens around me. I am just a big kid who wants to know all the whys in our world and universe.

  I spent too much time only learning about molecular biology in diseases like cancer and organisms like bacteria recently. I started to listen to some science-related podcasts science related and started to learn much more. But many times I see myself still with some questions about the details. So one of my choices if I had 1 month to learn knowledge would be all around natural sciences, at least what I am missing right now. So much to learn and so many specialists in different areas that I could learn so much.

  I don't need to be so greedy as well, trying to learn novelties outside my area. Lately, I haven't had the opportunity to attend conferences in my area. My current employer doesn't allow me that. I used to go to the annual international bioinformatics conference in different countries in my past jobs, but now I am not allowed even to go to local meetings. So, probably I am missing some novelties within my working area, but I didn't have the opportunity to see during my web search, which occurs every couple of days.

  There is another type of knowledge that I would love to learn deep in a whole month if I could learn everything like a microchip in the Matrix movie: all other languages in the world. It would be interesting to be able to know how to communicate in any country that I land. I watched one or two guys on Instagram reels who know so many languages. One is a Japanese guy and the one is an American. Both approach people and start talking with them in languages that you wouldn't expect, like specific Eastern European countries, or even different languages in China.

  I won't learn so much knowledge in 1 month. I can start to learn, of course, but I need to work as well. Working and learning can go hand in hand, but the learning is much slower compared to full-time learning. The dream of learning everything in one instant is something that many people thought about it, that's why in the Matrix movie they added this to the story, it is a dream for now but who knows in the future we will be able to learn so fast a big amount of knowledge so quickly, which is just data. Our brains are amazing machines, but still very limited in data transmission frequency compared to computers. That's why we can just use computational tools to help us deal with all our learning gaps.

  Conhecimento é algo que sempre aprecio! Estou sempre muito próximo das novas descobertas científicas, lendo notícias, ouvindo podcasts ou me aprofundando em descobertas científicas importantes na minha área, indo diretamente para artigos científicos. Mas é impossível absorver todo o conhecimento necessário para entender toda a natureza de uma só vez. Eu gostaria de conseguir, porque minha ganância é grande demais para entender tudo o que acontece ao meu redor. Sou apenas uma criança grande que quer saber todos os porquês do nosso mundo e do universo.

  Ultimamente, passei muito tempo aprendendo apenas sobre biologia molecular em doenças como câncer e organismos como bactérias. Comecei a ouvir alguns podcasts relacionados à ciência e comecei a aprender muito mais. Mas muitas vezes ainda me vejo com algumas dúvidas sobre os detalhes. Então, uma das minhas opções, se eu tivesse 1 mês para aprender conhecimento, seria sobre ciências naturais, pelo menos o que estou perdendo agora. Tanto para aprender e tantos especialistas em diferentes áreas com os quais eu poderia aprender muito.

  Não preciso ser tão ganancioso também, tentando aprender novidades fora da minha área. Ultimamente, não tenho tido a oportunidade de participar de conferências na minha área. Meu empregador atual não me permite isso. Eu costumava ir à conferência internacional anual de bioinformática em diferentes países em meus empregos anteriores, mas agora não tenho permissão nem para ir a reuniões locais. Então, provavelmente estou perdendo algumas novidades na minha área de trabalho, mas não tive a oportunidade de ver durante minha busca na internet, que ocorre a cada dois dias.

  Há outro tipo de conhecimento que eu adoraria aprender profundamente em um mês inteiro, se pudesse aprender tudo como um microchip no filme Matrix: todos os outros idiomas do mundo. Seria interessante poder me comunicar em qualquer país que eu chegasse. Vi um ou dois caras nos reels do Instagram que sabem muitos idiomas. Um é japonês e o outro é americano. Ambos abordam as pessoas e começam a conversar com elas em idiomas que você não esperaria, como países específicos do Leste Europeu ou até mesmo idiomas diferentes na China.

  Não vou aprender tanto conhecimento em 1 mês. Posso começar a aprender, claro, mas preciso trabalhar também. Trabalhar e aprender podem andar de mãos dadas, mas o aprendizado é muito mais lento em comparação com o aprendizado em tempo integral. O sonho de aprender tudo em um instante é algo que muitas pessoas têm, e é por isso que no filme Matrix eles adicionaram isso à história. É um sonho por enquanto, mas quem sabe no futuro seremos capazes de aprender tão rápido uma grande quantidade de conhecimento, que são apenas dados. Nossos cérebros são máquinas incríveis, mas ainda têm uma frequência de transmissão de dados muito limitada em comparação com os computadores. É por isso que podemos simplesmente usar ferramentas computacionais para nos ajudar a lidar com todas as nossas lacunas de aprendizagem.
