Instant Nihari Recipe / Creative Sunday
Assalamualaikum friends!
How are you all? Hope you all are doing well. I am also fine. As you know today is Sunday and every Sunday I try to participate in creative sunday. So, today I was bit confused that what I should made for today's post. So, I started to find some idea then my mom came and said that she wanted to eat nihari today. So, I went in the kitchen to make nihari. And I decided to capture this recipe and to share it with all of you. So, here is my effort for this @Creative-Sunday.
So without wasting time let's move towards the recipe.

Ingredients:
Chicken : 1 kg
oil: ½ cup
Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tablespoons
Nihari masala (store-bought): 1-packet
Salt: I teaspoon
Wheat flour (atta): 2 tablespoons (for thickening)
Water : 5–6 cups
Garnish:
Fresh ginger (chopped)
Green chilies (sliced)
Lemon
Onions: 2 medium, thinly sliced
Step-by-step instructions:
First, I took oil in a pot and on the flame. Then, I added ginger-garlic paste into it. After sometime, I added chicken in it. Then, I fried chicken untill it came into white color. Then, I added nihari masala into it and mixed it well and cooked it for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, I added 5 to 6 cup of water into it. Then, I covered it and left it to cook on low heat for about half an hour.
Then, I took one cup of water and added 2 tablespoon of wheat flour in it and mixed it well. Then, I started to add this slurry in nihari and stirr constantly. And cook it again for 10 to 15 minutes to get desired consistency.
Then, I prepared the fried onions. For this I took 2 medium sized onions. Cut it in thin slices. And then sprinkle salt in it and washed it. After that I took oil in a pot and added these onions in it. And then took it out when it came in brown color. And put it on paper so that they became crispy.
Then, I cut green chillies, ginger, and lemon for garnishing.
