Isn't That A Goodbye To Originality?
The advancement of technology has taken a whole lot of things to the next level, and I am really not surprised because we are yet to see the best of technology. As humans dive deeper into technology with the help of existing technology, we realize that more can be done, and we don't hesitate to explore the chances of improving the existing technology.
With the aid of technology, different aspects of our lives have become automated, and it's exciting if we take away the part where AI is gradually replacing people in various fields. If we are being honest, we will all agree that machines and artificial intelligence have boosted productivity in different fields and taken things to a whole new level.
Let's take a quick peek at the automobile sector, where the use of machines dominated a long time ago. There was a time when humans did the job, and there is no way we can match the productivity of these automated machines, especially when it comes to moving heavy vehicle parts. It doesn't end with the automobile industry; healthcare, banking, transportation, and others have experienced automation to some extent, and it's helping a lot.
Despite all of that, I think it would be dangerous to allow some aspects of human life to become automated. There are several things that are fundamental to humans, and automating them can go as far as attracting negative consequences, compromising our well-being, creativity, and even relationships. In a simple word, the importance of human involvement and judgment in fields that have to do with emotional support and complex decision-making can't be quantified.
I thought critically about this and discovered that automation is almost inevitable in many fields, but allowing it to completely take over can be dangerous.
Creative expression is a big deal for the human race, and automating it would end the presence of originality in the world.
Sometimes ago, I was having a chat with my youngest sibling, and he kept asking me what ChatGPT is because it has become a trend in school. He said his class teacher rejected different essays he gave as assignments because of these chatbots, so I explained everything about artificial intelligence in detail.
He was surprised, and I went to the length of generating an essay with an AI. While reading it, I realized the story lacked creativity and emotional depth, which is completely the opposite of creative expression.
Creative expression is a medium through which we convey our thoughts, and it can be informed by music, art, writing, and others. I can confidently say that many original pieces we enjoy out there are creative expressions, and it's impossible for machines or AI to give us original pieces we can reflect deeply on.
Have you imagined having an AI generate stories for movies or lyrics for music? It would surely be nice, but it would lack human originality and creativity. AI can't tell your story better than you; it can't express the feeling in the story, and it's impossible for your audience to get a clearer picture of your content.
Automating creative expression would definitely mean we are saying goodbye to originality, and that wouldn't make sense, especially for people who enjoy original content a lot. It's just impossible, and this will never happen because AI can't feel or understand how we feel.
Aside from saying goodbye to originality, a lot of original content creators will struggle to make ends meet and that would be quite devastating for them.
I really do not want to see our songs, movies, and books become artificial intelligence properties because the world would become extremely boring for an introvert like me. Despite the advancement in these industries, it would interest you to know that I still listen to really old songs and even prefer them to many songs today just because the level of originality and creativity was higher back then.
We enjoy good music, movies, artwork, craft and other so trashing them for the sake of automation is a no for me.

Personally, I don't think any write up generated by AI will ever be nice. Have you read AI's idea of a joke? 🤣 It's always dry, and absent of creativity.
I know that the creators are still working on them, trying to make sure that these things get better and act more like humans. But that's what makes it so scary.
Lolz, I do use my phone assistant features when bored and non of the jokes from the AI has ever made me laugh. It is so annoying that the AI would end up laughing to it joke.
Creative expression is one thing AI will never replace and even if it will happen, it won't be in this age and time.
I just hope most people see things from your perspective of this topic, One of the primary reason why we feel so attached to creative content written by humans is the application of emotions which is as a result of human touch. One thing AI is unable to Phantom because it is just a machine.
Yes bro, adding emotions to our content brings a touch of originality into it and this one thing AI can't offer us yet. It might happen eventually but not soon.
My dear am happy that there something that Al can’t do because they are almost taken over. Most time am so afraid the way technology is advancing. No matter how the try AI can never replace creative aspect of human. Because is working basic on data encoded on it.
Despite the fear, we are enjoying many privileges from AI and things would have been a bit clumsy with many automated system we use today.
I am sure that they are working effortlessly to add emotions and feelings into AI ability but for now, being as creative as human is one thing AI can't do.
My dear is not possible AI can never have emotions
Nothing can be like nature. Even when it comes to food, natural foods always comes out better than the opposite.
Save goes to the Ai, story telling is something that is relatable, but when done by an Ai, it could almost be predicted cause it's imputed not fresh.
It might produce in a good speed and some form of accuracy, but can't be perfect.
AI can't be perfect because humans made it from their imperfection. It can only try but it's impossible for it to completely replace human or make everything in the world automated.
Creative expression requires some emotions and feelings, it is like painting a picture of what's in our mind. AI can't do close because it doesn't have a mind.
Hmm... Good point.
