Stan and Cancel Culture of Fans.

One thing that people often forget is that celebrities are human beings like the rest of us. We are the ones who made them who they are, but that doesn't mean we deserve to treat them like gods or feel as though we own them. They had something to offer, and we chose to buy into it, granting them fame and wealth. I will provide two extreme instances where fans have gone to aggressive extremes regarding celebrities.

I have watched so many videos of fans doing things that are unimaginable to their celebrities. Is it about the female throwing their bra at a celebrity, which I would find offensive if it were done to me? That's too excessive. I don't believe anyone would be aggressive if people acted properly around them. There are times the Nigerian artist (Burna Boy) has been seen being aggressive to his fans and the reason is that most of the time these celebrities are moving targets so without approval from the celebrity, a fan can't just run over to them for autographs or pictures. This is something Burna Boy has battled with many times, which made fans tag him as being aggressive.

The first person I would talk about is our homeboy, "Ruger." Ruger is a Nigerian celebrity who sings and is well-known in Africa. There are several times Ruger has been molested by his female fan. There was a time a female fan threw her pants on him; a time he was dancing and a female fan grabbed his D*ck. Ruger has faced many molestations from his fans on different occasions; if he becomes aggressive toward his fans, people will tag him as being too extra.

Kim Sae Ron

Kim sae ron is a Korean actress who is well known in her country but after a drunk-and-drive incident she was involved in, the people she called fans started bullying her online until she was canceled and couldn't get any contract jobs again. This pushed her to work locally even after making a public apology. This didn't stop the fan from the continuous insult and bullying.

This caused the actress to fall into depression; her life became miserable until she died. Sometimes, some celebrities wish they never met some fan or never had some fan, but it still baffles me how the people who claim to love her would push her so far.

I believe a celebrity who is aggressive to their fan should be arrested and the same should be done to the fan who is aggressive but you know how people always believe celebrities should be ready to take any shit thrown at them because they are celebrities.

I would recommend a song to everyone reading this blog titled "Stan" by Eminem. It's a song about how a fan went extreme on him; it's a story and in that story, he told how a fan wanted to meet him so bad he almost killed someone for that.
