The last Lap finishing 2025 better

Hello everyone, Welcome to my blog.

Wow, just like how time flies. Just a while ago we were shouting and greeting each other with "Happy New Year," and within the blink of an eye it is the last quarter of the year already.

There was a time when my only prayer was to secure an admission into the university, and sometime in 2020 that prayer was answered, and in 2025 the journey as an undergraduate student came to an end, and I was so happy.

2025 has been a year of many blessings and ups and downs for me personally, and I am just grateful to God for the journey so far.

The final year came with a lot of financial commitment here and there, not to mention the tasking nature of academic work in combination with the final-year project. Trust me, it was a whole lot, but I sailed through.

This year I got a major opening to work with a team that hosted a state event in Ogun State, Nigeria, that was hosted to empower farmers within the state as the team lead for the event decoration.

It was a major eye-opener and the first of its kind opportunity for me to work with government officials on a project as an event vendor.

It was challenging and tasking, but I learned on the job and was able to pull off the event even with the hurdles.

One of my major goals for this year was to build presence in the Hive community, and for a major part of this year I couldn't do that due to the tasking nature of the final year.

In spite of that, I have become more consistent, not as I want to yet, but gradually I am building presence in this space.

A major goal I have for this year was to take a course in data analysis, which I haven't been able to do due to the fact that I haven't placed priority on it, which is totally my fault.

As a fresh graduate in the field of agriculture, I have already made some plans to go back to the soilless farm lab Awowo here in Ogun State, where I was trained on greenhouse farming during my farm practical year.

This is to enable me to learn agronomic practices when it comes to farming vegetables because farming a field is something I intend to go into sooner, and I figured out what better time to learn than now in order to save myself from the trial-and-error syndrome when I eventually begin.

I have also been on a one-year real estate consultancy training, which takes place between the hours of 9PM and 10PM from Mondays to Fridays, and I have learned a lot when it comes to real estate, especially as it relates to land acquisition here in southwest Nigeria.

My focus in this quarter of the year is my finances, and I have a couple of events lined up between now and December, so as the final quarter of the year begins to unfold, I am determined to make the most of it in every possible way.

Thanks for stopping by.
