Books a sure way to improvement
It is said that one of the best ways to travel the world is through books, and a person is only as powerful in their field as the level of their knowledge in that field.
Books are surely a way through which one expands their mental capacity and connects with people they may not come in contact with in their lifetime.
A lot of lives have been changed through books. Many times people whose lives have been changed didn't have physical contact with the authors of those books; just reading those books around and putting into action the ideology behind those books has changed a lot of lives.
Books on personal development, goal setting, public speaking, customer relations, and many more have been put out there by experts in some of those fields, and a lot of the time those books have ended up transforming the lives of the readers.
Personally, it has been a bit challenging to keep consistent reading habits, which is something I am not so proud about, but in recent times I have picked up a bit of reading more consistently.
The recent book I picked up was a book by Joyce Meyer with the title Overloaded. The book practically talks about the stress in our day-to-day life and how to unwind and deal with stressful situations that occur in our day-to-day life as we go about our daily living.
After reading the cover page of the book, I decided that it was a book that I wanted to read, coupled with the fact that I just recently graduated and I'm still trying to figure out my next move and actions.
And doing this, I must say, has been quite challenging and stressful, and sometimes I get overwhelmed by overthinking situations, so I decided that this would be a good read for me.
In the first two chapters of the book, the author talks about how to unwind from stressful situations by talking to family or friends about it—people you can trust or a circle of like-minded individuals that you can talk with.
And sometimes just talking about some issues can be very enlightening and relieve someone of their stress because in most cases you find that just by talking about it to someone, you get the solution to the issue.
I loved how the author relates the issue of stress and links it to casting our cares upon the Lord, who's the creator of heaven and earth, because he cares for us.
I am currently in chapter 3 of the book due to my inconsistency, which is something I am working on, but outside this book I intend to complete three books between now and the end of the year.
Books on business and personal development because lately I have discovered that I am quite good at Minecraft, which is event decoration, but I have found myself lacking in the business part and team building, so I am currently in search of books on business development and team building, and your suggestions would be welcome in the comment section.
Thank you for stopping by.
