The Acknowledging the Wild in Wild animals

Hello everyone welcome to my blog. Today we'll be discussing about a very important topic that to some requires more attention than it is given as everyone already feels like it is not even a subject that needs redress. A lot of extreme animals lovers go to great lengths to procure any kinds of animals whether legally or illegally to keep as pets including wild animals. To them these creatures can be faked out of their nature if they are groomed under the right conditions. With instances like this, a lot of people are tempted to ask the million dollar question just like this prompt: " Is it okay to own wild and exotic pets if we can afford to raise them???. There's actually a rational explanation for this question but before it is provided I think a real life event will actually do most of the work or at the very least set the basis for some necessary clarification.

Mr Antoine Yates was a middle aged construction worker living in the United States of America, Harlem to be precise in the early 2000. He loved animals whether wild or domesticated and would go to extreme lengths to purchase them even going as far as taking off strays from the streets. His love for animals pushed him into illegally purchasing a baby tiger from a zone which he took to his place and started training in his apartment. Mr Antoine had different animals in his home including rats and since he was bringing and tiger home, he gave the tiger it's own room different from the rest of the other misfits. He continued to feed the tiger cub with different types of meat predominantly chicken for a very long time until the tiger reached adulthood.

Mind you, Mr Antoine had recently brought home a stray cat he found during his working hours and had brought it back home as a new member of his animal family. So one day, the little cat accidentally crawled into the tigers make shift den and the moment the tiger saw the cat it tried to eat it on the spot. Luckily Mr Antoine rushed over to rescue the cat but as he was struggling to save the tiger bit him in different places which caused life threatening issues and didn't stop even when Mr Antoine was begging for it to let go. Mr Antoine eventually got free and tried treating his wounds and when he couldn't do that on his own he went to the hospital lying that he was attacked by a pitbull. The police very suspicious of his report, did some investigation and discovered that he had a huge Siberian tiger sitting in his home. They tranquilized it, took it back to where it belonged, arrested Mr Antoine for illegal possession of a wild animal and he was sentenced to jail with a fine to pay for damages... The end.

I bet with this story, one can tell that wild animals has no place in human society except in Zoos and reserves. Keeping this creatures at home is not only tasking but also poses a threat to people as well. Just like people can not fight their nature, the same thing applies to these animals as well. Just because you have the money to fund them doesn't mean you should leave them just where they are else or sooner than later you'll be paying for it then hard way ...... Thank you
