Only Naturals...
I only like natural!!!
This is usually the opinion of people. There are those who just feel like as long as it’s natural, then it’s good for us. As a matter of fact, they won’t even consider modern methods or think about the risks associated with such thinking. I was once on a bus where a woman was talking about how her mother had given birth to them through home delivery.
According to her, hospitals were bad news. They just wanted your money and they pumped you full of drugs that made you sick and put your baby in danger. Yeah… you’d be shocked at how many people still think this way. Because according to them, home deliveries are ‘natural’ and the real danger is in the hospital.
I’ve also come across a man who told me that the local bone setters are better than the orthopedics in the hospitals. I don’t know if he’s of that opinion simply because he feels the hospitals are more expensive and the local bone setters are cheaper, or if he truly believes that. But then, across many fields, many people still can’t get over the feeling that Natural will always be better than artificial. Even though most of what they think isn’t as natural as they believe it to be. And many times, they’re not really artificial, they’re just an improvement of what the natural really is.
So, do I think that natural is best? No. Natural is not always the best thing, because sometimes, that natural thing can be the very one killing you slowly. The world has advanced, and we’re meant to improve on what Mother Nature has provided us, we make them better all to our own benefit.
I feel that some things are better as natural, and food is one of those things. These days, we don’t have farmers anymore; we only have businessmen. We don’t have restaurants and chefs; we simply have people in business. And just because they want to make as much money as possible, they take corners to apply technology to their processes, and it affects the food we eat.
I support the technology that makes farming easy, but I don’t support it when they have to hasten the ripening of food, or use unnatural fertilizers, which only end up reducing the nutritional value of the food. And thus, these foods can’t even protect themselves from pests. That’s why you’d cook rice today and by evening, it’s already spoilt, or you could keep raw beans in a closed container, but you’d still find weevils inside it.
And then, when it comes to our bodies, it’s not a straight answer. There are times when people can go artificial, but it should be done sparingly. You don’t get artificial simply because you want to impress people, there has to be a genuine need for it. And I, for one, support that natural is okay.
But then, in the medical world, artificial things have made groundbreaking changes, giving people second chances at life and good health. Sometimes, the cure we need might not be out there in the jungle, but inside a Bunsen burner in a laboratory.
If you limit yourself to using only naturals, it’s only a matter of time before the consequences of that decision catch up with you and take you down. It can’t be avoided. But then, if you also limit yourself to switching everything you can to artificial, then you’re on a highway, driving at top speed towards the edge of a cliff.
We just need to find balance. Do what we do and make sure that every decision we make is what is right for us. That’s what’s most important.

Thank you for this.
Natural is good in many cases, and in such a case, I also agree, but artificial is not bad either. Depending on the field, artificial is also better than natural. There is no way to deny.
Yeah... we should just be guided. That's all.
