Will we never be able to reduce violence?

I hope everyone is doing well, I am also doing well by the grace of God. Today's context is violence. Friends, today I want to share a post with you about it.

In keeping with the dynamic nature of the world, humans constantly want to progress their steps. Humans' relationship with nature has helped them prove themselves as the best creatures on earth. At the same time, humans have also proven to be one of the most disgusting creatures on earth. Yes, I was talking about violence. From ancient times to the present day, this curse has become a part of our daily lives. The physical and mental trauma, discrimination, damage, destruction and death of ordinary people through violence by any powerful group or party is really very sad.

Every day, when we wake up and sip our tea, we see war or casualties in the newspapers. Be it newspapers or social media, there is evidence of violence everywhere. Everyone, young and old, is affected in some way or the other. On the one hand, the normal development of children is being disrupted by violence, while on the other hand, the youth are also getting involved in various crimes.

In the present world, there is peace on one side and war on the other. Since the industrial revolution in Europe, destruction and development have been progressing equally. I once read about World War I, the much-discussed World War II, etc. in books. But now I am becoming an eyewitness to violence. Every day, when I finish my university classes and pass in front of Dhaka University, I see almost some students in a state of agitation or protest against the ongoing various forms of violence. I am even more surprised when I see students or the general public from different countries, except Bangladesh, on television or in newspapers, protesting against various discriminations. Then I am really disappointed. If this continues, maybe I too will become a victim of violence one day.

These violences of the current society are being portrayed in films. Perhaps more than the amount of violence that occurs through violence, they are being portrayed. Both positive and negative effects of these are being reflected in our society. In addition, violence is being portrayed through various virtual games. It is certainly debatable whether violence spreads awareness in society through virtual games or through films. I think it depends on the individual's own attitude.

It may not be possible to completely eliminate the violence that consumes society. But I think it is possible to prevent it. It is possible to reduce violence through personal awareness, positive attitudes, cooperation towards each other, educational and economic policies, and sound social and state systems.
