Before putting the spot lights on those international sporting events why not come down to our levels where our children play sports with joy limping off their hearts, some even run out of their houses secretly just to go rehearsal and play matches, if it were before they never considered sports as a career but this age or perhaps in this era these children have been given the upper hands to pursue their dreams, make the best out of their life and be happy.

Should this question "Are international sporting events a waste of resources?" I have a boy today that won't let me have peace everyday. He is so consumed with football and even when I try to stop him, it didn't work because to him it gives him joy. And that takes me to the question of the day. Do we believe that it is a waste of resources as the question put it. From my child it become clear to me that to some it is not a waste of resources.

But even asked, we have other things that investment and money goes down the drain for that people that even blink an eye lid for, so this is just one of the numerous and if it's accomplish a big purpose then I would say it is worth it, if you are looking for where to invest those money on, my quick question would be "what kind of money would ever be enough in this our country?" The ones that has been invested how far has it helped. Every field is Important not withstanding how people see it from different perspective.

I believe it plays a significant role in shaping the lives of our children, sometimes this sport is what keeps them going like it's their drive, other times you see the skills and passion they put in it and I kid you not if you are to evaluate most of this sport is more prominent and resourceful more than what you think should be focused on, my own take on this is that those international sporting events is the drive for them it's just like saying a student Keep writing those school exams just preparing themselves to write external exams like WACE and NECO, we often hear better soup na money kill am so otherwise inorder to know the value of something check the labours been invested in it and the resources pulled up to bring it to a successful, you would now Know that it is worth it.

We definitely want our children to be responsible, to emulate good characters and be accounted for so why not give them the opportunity, why try to cut out those oxygen that keeps them alive? Let's try and give them the opportunity they deserve.
