Languages: Beyond Words, the Identity of a Culture

Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂

Artificial intelligence is having a profound impact on our lives. In the past, we used to use "Hello, Google," but today, people seek answers from AI chatbots. The technology behind these chatbots is so advanced that they can read any language and respond with ease. Sometimes, it feels like we need to learn a new language because AI seems to know every language. Many people have this curiosity, but I feel that when it comes to regional languages, there are some that AI doesn't yet understand, and learning a new language is going to be a bit difficult. Learning a new language is like entering a new world. Although there are many tools available these days to make this task easier, there are still many things that AI needs to understand when creating a new language. Our regional languages have a distinct identity. Imagine yourself traveling far from home to another country, visiting a shopping mall, and suddenly seeing a family talking in a regional language, the language of your region, you'll feel a different kind of energy flow through your body, and you'll feel a unique sense of joy. And naturally, you'll reach out to that family, ask them about it, and try to connect with them. This is the identity of your language, which gives you a sense of belonging.

Before learning a new language, we should understand how popular our regional languages are. The biggest problem today is that there's a significant lack of employment in smaller areas. This lack of employment is driving youth from these areas to migrate to larger cities in search of jobs, leaving villages deserted. In reality, it's the rural population that keeps regional languages in common, helping them survive. If you move to a city today, people will speak a common language that everyone understands. Many regional languages are on the verge of extinction due to migration, as their popularity has dwindled to such a low level that only a few people speak them, and even those who understand them can understand them. We should promote our regional languages and speak to those around us in our own languages, as this gives people a sense of belonging. No matter what people say or think, our language is our identity.

Speaking of artificial intelligence, it can't yet decode our regional languages effectively, as it doesn't yet understand them well enough. This is because languages aren't readily available online. Artificial intelligence can currently best understand languages that are the national language of a country or the formal speech people use to communicate with each other. Therefore, instead of learning a new language, it's better to focus on your regional languages and promote them to as many people as possible. Many people in your region may be unable to understand or speak their regional languages. Some people may know regional languages but cannot speak them. It's crucial to raise awareness among these people, and you can use online resources to do so. You can also use video calls, group chats, or many other ways to promote and propagate your regional languages.
