I approach the sea in silence
to tear out my throat,
hang my screams in the clouds
and merge my tears with the waves
where the fish
could weave other love stories
with happy endings.

Yes, it doesn't matter what day it is,
the clouds,
the sun burning my shadow...

It doesn't matter the limit
or the ways
of the person who draws a line,
of the person who tells a story
that others believe
to mutilate me in the void.

It doesn't matter,
the gesture and the frame
fracture the horizon.

A signal plays with the clouds,
my cry is lost in the asphalt
and I seek silence.

The distance fades into the horizon,
close as the image of your footsteps
in the cry I smother.

The breakwater
bears your name
with the same flavor
as the first tear.

I raise my gaze and resist.
To one side, the sea,
the wind,
the dust,
the clouds,

Pudo haber sido un día cualquiera.
De hecho,
puede ser cualquier día.

Me acerco al mar en silencio
para rasgar mi garganta,
colgar mis gritos en las nubes
y fundir mis lágrimas con el oleaje

lleva tu nombre con el mismo sabor de la primera lágrima.

Levanto la mirada y me resisto.
A un lado el mar,
el viento,
el polvo,
las nubes,
y tú,
siempre tú,
donde los peces
pudieran tejer
otras historias de amor.
