The train is a means of transportation consisting of a series of wagons, pulled or towed by a locomotive, or by self-propelled cars that generally run on permanent rails.

They are used to transport goods, animals or people from one place to another, and are one of the most widely used means of transportation worldwide even today.

In other contexts, a train can symbolize a personal journey or a way to achieve dreams, and in music, it often represents freedom, longing, loss, adventure and even hope.

This pair of photos from my personal archive, correspond to an electric train used in a well-known shopping mall in the city as a recreational activity for children, running at low speed through the aisles of the mall while the engine driver blows the horn to alert visitors of the passing of the train and thus avoid uncomfortable situations.

Its design represents an old 19th century steam locomotive, emblematic of westerns and other movies of the time; it consists of three open cars where children occasionally sit accompanied by their parents.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

El tren es un medio de transporte formado por una serie de vagones, arrastrados o remolcados por una locomotora, o bien, por coches autopropulsados que generalmente circulan sobre carriles permanentes denominados rieles.

Son usados para el transporte de mercancías, animales o personas de un lugar a otro, siendo uno de los medios terrestres más usados a nivel mundial aún hoy en día.

En otros contextos, un tren puede simbolizar un viaje personal o una forma de alcanzar los sueños, y en la música, suele representar libertad, anhelo, pérdida, aventura e incluso esperanza.

Este par de fotos de mi archivo personal, corresponden a un tren eléctrico usado en un reconocido centro comercial de la ciudad, como una actividad recreativa para los niños, recorriendo a baja velocidad los pasillos del mall mientras el o la maquinista toca la bocina para alertar a los visitantes del paso del tren y así evitar situaciones incómodas.

Su diseño representa una vieja locomotora de vapor del Siglo XIX, emblemática de los western y otras películas de la época; que consta de tres vagones abiertos donde se sientan los niños ocasionalmente acompañados de sus padres.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
