PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography Round 143: Holy Family [ENG/ESP]

Holy Family
In Catholicism, the Holy Family refers to Joseph, Mary, and their son Jesus. It represents the fundamental values of the Christian faith and serves as a model for all families around the world on how to live in love, faith, and fidelity to God.
Its message transcends time, nations, and different cultures, offering believers a source of inspiration for the challenges of everyday life.
My mother has a wooden altarpiece in the living room of her apartment where she placed a ceramic statue of the Holy Family, in which Jesus is represented as a young man, probably at the end of his childhood and about to become a teenager.
Yesterday afternoon, while waiting for my mother, whom I had gone to pick up to take her to a family engagement, I had the opportunity to take a couple of photos of the small piece, which is perhaps no more than 12 centimeters tall.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Sagrada Familia
En el catolicismo se conoce como Sagrada Familia al conjunto compuesto por José, María y a su hijo Jesús. Esta representa los valores fundamentales de la fe cristiana, y sirve de modelo a todas las familias del mundo entero, de cómo vivir en el amor, la fe y la fidelidad a Dios.
Su mensaje trasciende al tiempo, a las naciones y las diferentes culturas, ofreciendo a los creyentes una fuente de inspiración para los retos de la vida cotidiana.
Mi madre tiene en la sala de su apartamento, un retablo de madera donde colocó una estatuilla de cerámica de la Sagrada Familia, donde Jesús es representado como un joven, probablemente al final de su niñez para convertirse en un adolescente.
Ayer en la tarde, mientras esperaba a mi madre, a quien había ido a buscar para dirigirnos a un compromiso familiar, tuve la oportunidad de tomar un par de fotos de la pequeña pieza que tal vez no excede los 12 centímetros de altura.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
