PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography - Yellow

This post will be my entry for @photofeed macro photography contest If you wish to join the contest please kindly read and follow the rules and guidelines here for Contest Round 106

Another beautiful spider that took me quite a while to photograph, and once I found it, it was still around almost in the same place for some time. However I believe that this might not be the same individuals that I saw, but rather the offspring that still occupy the same plant as the hunting area.

This is the yellow jumping spider that I found on the blue snake weed plant. And what is the interesting thing is that I found it on the flower part of the plant. The color contrast of the spider and the flower makes it more interesting.

Maybe the yellow color was to attract any nectar-feeding insect, because, with its yellow color, the insect might think that it is the stigma head of the flower which full of nectar but instead it was a ferocious predator that was waiting for the prey to take the bait.

I will use the first photo of this post to be my entry for this week's photofeed macro contest.

What I like also about this spider is the scary shape of its head, and how the eyes were located at that. It really shows how cold blooded is this spider.

It is an interesting looking spider for sure. I don't think I have ever seen a spider, or an insect with what seems like angles on its body.
