Himalaya is not only snow and ice. This photo was taken when I was doing the Everest Base Camp trek. The place is somewhere between the villages Phakding (2.800m.) and Lukla (2.300). Nice to see a part of Himalayas with plants and trees. I thought Himalayas is a mountain range of ice, rocks and cliffs.

You are right about the ice and snow, but thats on higher altitude. It's nice to see the green valleys.

Really Dear you deserve high appreciation for this photo. Because this photo covers the greenery as well as the mountains. Mountain view looks like shading in any paint. People who live in these areas are lucky that such type of environment they have in their surroundings.

Thank you 😊 It is a wonderful place. Trekking for several days means slow traveling. In this way I feel I really get to "see" the landscape, the people and cultures.
