📸 PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography #147 : Desert landscape in Denmark

Visiting the west coast of Denmark made me experience landscape like this. The place the photo was taken is Rubjerg Knude. There is a lighthouse here, but because of coastal erosion, it has been mooved further inland. It looks like a desert, but once there were forests and farms here. When the farmers cut the trees, it caused the sand to take over. The facines you see on the photo are the top of fir trees, planted to try to prevent the sand to drift. Coastal erosion is another problem the coast experiences. This photo is my entry to @photofeed contest https://ecency.com/hive-153349/@photofeed/photofeed-contest-landscape-photography-round-147

Nice pic... This is a welcome change from the snow and grey skies of this day in Montreal.
Have a wonderful day

Lovely shot. Sad about the coastal erosion. I'm glad the coast in our town doesn't have that problem yet.
You are lucky then. I have seen the change in Denmark over the years. I have driven many times along that coast.
Fantastic how you play with lines and curves in this photo. Bravo!
Thank you 🙂
